Swing Camp (7/15 - 7/17) - Swingers Campout in Birch Creek Idaho - "This one time at Swing Camp..." Do you know how you would complete this sentence? No? Well, come join us for the 1st Annual Black Ring Society of Idaho Swing Camp and let's make some naughty and sexy memories that we can use to complete that sentence! We are going to host a swinger's campout at Birch Creek Campground (north of Mud Lake on ID-28, more information below) on the weekend of July 15-17. We have reserved Group Site #4 for this event. This is going to be a group event with an admission fee of $15 per person (collected in cash at the event). The admission fee will cover the cost of the campground, the large 6 foot grill that we are going to provide for those tent campers who need something to cook on, and other supplies that we will help provide. The area we have reserved does not have a LOT of privacy, but we plan to bring several tarps that we can hang up between campers or in other ways to help us provide additional privacy for the things that we would like to do during this event. There is also not going to be a lot of shade other than that which we provide, so if you have a pop-up canopy you can bring, it will surely come in very useful. The campsite is about a quarter mile from the main road and we plan to use campers in a way to block access to the campsite from onlookers. The site is plenty big enough for quite a few campers, so feel free to bring them with the knowledge that there are no hookups there, so this will be dry camping for those bringing their campers. Additionally, if you have them, feel free to bring ATVs because there places to ride up in the area. There is also no place to harvest firewood up there, so be sure to make arrangements for that. We don't really want to plan a lot of group activities because we want members to have the freedom to do what they wish, but here is what we have planned so far. On Saturday morning, Saturday night, and Sunday morning, we are planning to have a group potluck type of cookout where we will provide a grill to cook what you bring. Depending on how we can arrange things while we are there, we think it would be a great idea for the guys to cook the Saturday night meal nude (or as nude as they feel comfortable) and have the girls cook the Sunday morning meal nude (or as nude as they feel comfortable). Saturday night we have a few group games that we will play with those who are interested. Take I-15 North to Exit 143 for ID-33 2. At the end of the off-ramp take a left on ID-33 towards Mud Lake. 3. Just after you go through the bustling metropolis of Mud Lake (don't blink of you might miss it), take a right ID-28. 4. 24.5 miles down ID-28, you will see a sign on the left hand side of the road for the Birch Creek Recreational Area - Middle Access (attached to this post). 5. Take a left on to the Middle Access road to the Birch Creek Recreational Area. 6. 0.3 miles down the road, you will come to a fork in the road (the 2nd picture). 7. Take a left at the fork and you will see the sign (on the right) for Group Site #4. 8. Someone from the group will be at the fork to check you in, so be looking for that. Things to bring (other than normal camping supplies and equipment): 1) $15 per person for admission. 2) Food for your consumption keeping in mind that we will provide a grill for cooking 3) Firewood 4) Pop-up canopy or extra blankets to be used for privacy and/or shade Even though we KNOW this campsite may not necessarily be ideal for this event, this is the site that we have chosen and reserved, so we plan to make the best of it and we hope that you will be able to join us for this event and have some outdoor fun with us.

Virtual "Cheap Thrill Seekers" - - We empathize with much of what we have read in this topic so far ... Unfortunately, fakes who try to deceive their way into your bedroom and flakes who get their kicks setting up false dates are all too prevalent, not only on Swingular but throughout the entire swingers' community online. For the past three months, we have wasted tremendous amounts of our precious spare time perusing countless profiles and advts, and writing and responding to countless emails and text messages. Despite our concerted almost-daily effort,` we have met only two genuine couples. The vast majority of people we have had contact with over the past 3 months have been fakes or flakes ... and we refuse to play their game any more. These people only exist and thrive on sites like this, and make our pastime difficult and unpleasant, because we allow them to. Evildoers is correct in his/her statement that digital technology has made it easier for people to pretend to be something they are not ... But that depends entirely on the technology being used, which we will discuss in a moment. We (genuine couples) cannot eradicate flakes and fakes from sites like this one, but there are simple commonsense steps we can all take to take the fun out of their participation here. 1. Only communicate with certified/verified couples or females. This is not infallible, but it will reduce the amount of fakes/flakes you come into contact with. 2. Publicly expose and shame all fakes and flakes using the forum. If Swingular doesn't like the forum being used this way they can delete the countless number of posts they will receive, else provide another suitable avenue. 2a. If Swingular doesn't come to the party, start up an online "Flake-o-Dex". It's not as problematic as it sounds if you already have website hosting ( :D ). The major problems with this are getting the site known so people will use it, and moderating the site to ensure that only genuine complaints are posted. But these problems are not insurmountable. 2. Screen your prospects. Stop communicating in text or email after the initial contact ... Advise them by text, email (or on your profile page) that you will want to meet them on webcam (Skype or Swingular videochat) before any real-life meeting. For the most part, fakes and flakes won't contact you again, but if they do, a no-show on cam is far less inconvenient and costly than a no-show in real-life. If a couple or single female are genuine swingers who truly interested in a real life sexual encounter, they should have no inhibitions in meeting you privately on cam. 3. If you only want to meet real couples or females, put yourselves in a place where you will only meet real people and where real people can meet you. Fakes thrive in the anonymity of text-only groups and hate videochat because they can't hide who they are ... So make use of the Swingular Video chat room and stop using text-only groups like Kik to meet people. We both met in a video/text chat room in 2008 (and were living in two separate countries at the time). Many of the people in the room were hiding their faces until they got to know each other (including us, initially) but, from day 1, we could determine everyone's gender and general appearance. Still anonymous (for those that wanted it that way) but no fakes there and none of the problems that are occurring on this site. Well that's our view on the matter ... Whether you choose to consider and try our suggestions is entirely up to you. :)

We had over 400 members there and it was the sexiest crowd we've ever seen! We read the forums and some of you had some concerns and we want to address those concerns before announcing the upcoming party. Overall, most of you were happy with the party and the venue, however, a small percentage of you didn't like the venue. We totally understand that a nightclub like The Hotel isn't the perfect setting for a swingers gathering when you are trying to meet others and be social. To set the record straight, we just want to let everyone know how difficult it is to find a venue that will not only give up it's busiest night of the week, Saturday, but also give it up to a group like ours. All of the lifestyle parties in Salt Lake combined don't have the best reputations for throwing 'by the law' parties as it is so a lot of venues won't even give us the time of day. Not that any of us have done anything wrong, it is just that the liquor commission keeps a close eye on the bars and nightclubs and if there are any minor violations, like nudity or sexual acts, it could shut down the venue or cause a huge fine. Venues don't even want to chance it with any of the local lifestyle parties. So, imagine how difficult it is to find a venue that will take us. Now, for the sake of providing all of our members a comfortable, fun place to hang out, socialize and dance, the ideal type of venue is one with lots of seating and tables, no-smoking inside, an outside patio for smokers and those who wish to get away from the music and heat, a bunch of bars for easy to get drinks, and a huge dance floor. All of this of course has to be able to hold up to 400 plus people in a private setting without sharing the club with the regular night. There are only a few venues in Salt Lake that provide that, and the best one, Habits, will NEVER allow us to take over the club as they don't need our revenue. Anything else that comes close to Habits is the same way, they don't need us and won't piss off their normal customers. So we found a new venue that hasn't opened yet, that is perfect for our event. We set them up for the last party, however, they couldn't get everything ready in time. So we had a back up plan to go to the old Butterfly Lounge @ The Depot. They cancelled on us 3 days before the last party because they didn't want to host a lifestyle party. So this brings me to how we ended up at The Hotel. It was the only venue that could hold up to 400 plus guests, provide a dance floor, provide some seating, as well as have a couple of fully stocked bars and the entire place to ourselves. The Hotel actually did us all a HUGE favor, so a special thanks goes out to them for accommodating our group at the last minute. As for the music, since they already had a prior commitment to some DJ's before we got there, we had to agree to let them play for the first couple of hours. So for those of you who did not like the venue, or the music, I apologize, however, this is the best we can do in a place like Utah. If you want to be able to go out and meet other members without having to share the club with non-lifestylers, I guess we all have to make some sacrifices and put up with what we are dealt with. Also, some of you asked why we charge as much as we do. Honestly, $20 per couple is nothing. A normal night club charges that in Utah ($10/person) and if you go to most any lifestyle party or swing club outside of Utah, you will pay at least $50 or more per couple. So you are actually getting a deal here. That money covers a lot of things that go into putting the party together such as deposits for the venue, DJ's, bands, supplies, etc... It also covers hosts and door staff, tipping out the club staff, and a lot of the people who put the work into to bring you such an event. You may not realize, but there is a lot work that goes into putting these things together, and the crap you have to go through with the venues doesn't help. ;) With that said, I hope I have at least explained ourselves in our choosing of the venues and that we can move forward with your support in putting together more parties, not only for Swingular, but others such as Utah Uncensored, etc... And now we can announce the next Swingular Members Party.... [b] [size=300][align=center]*** UPDATE ***[/align][/size][/b] Saturday, June 19th, 2010 @ 9 PM We have been unsuccessful in getting the previously announced new venue for our party. This new venue could not accommodate us and the lifestyle, therefore, our only choice to have a lifestyle party would again be The Hotel. This venue is still a great venue to have a lifestyle party. It is very nice (vegas style), it has multiple levels, it has 4 + bars to get drinks, and it is downtown next to hotels. We will be arranging a specific hotel for our group and try to get a group rate as well. This time, we have full control of the music, so we will make sure that the music is not too loud and we have arranged for a DJ to start with classics to rock, to 80's, to 90's and end the night with more dance music. All seating will be first come, first serve, no bottle reservations required. Tickets will be $20/Couple in advance and $30 cash at the door. Select single men that accompany another couple will be $30 in advance, $40 cash at the door. Single women are always free, at the door, no ticket needed. We will also be selling tickets at local establishments through out Salt Lake, Provo & Ogden. If you live in one of those areas and would like to help us find a place to sell tickets and manage that for us, we will give you free access to all parties you manage. Contact us for details.
