trying to pick a place to honeymoon - - I would say it depends on what kind of weather and scenery you want. If you want mountains for hiking/camping/skiing and that sort of thing, pick Utah. If beaches and such are more your thing, pick Florida. Both have great groups of swingers as far as what I know via here on Swingular. Swingers clubs are the new singles hangout? - - I personally have noticed a small but steady increase of single straight women at the swinger's club I hang out at. Normally I would just play it off as a fluke when some friends of mine said that from what they have heard swingers clubs are becoming the place of choice to go for both single women and men hoping to find "Mr. Right".
Now the things I like about the club I frequent are the friendly and no pressure atmosphere, and the ability to have fun without having someone ask me every 5 minutes if I want a drink.
Has anyone else noticed an increase in the number of single straight women at swingers clubs?

Trying to find a fun "lifestyle-nude" resort for a vacation... - any suggestions... which are better.. hedo11, hedo111, desire, etc.. (others) thanks - UTCPL... thank you for the advice of the lifestyle travel site. We went into it, and it looks interesting. So far, it does not look like there are any groups going to HEDO11 during the months of May or June of '08, but I guess we will have to wait and hope.
It what we have been reading, it appears that HEDO11 is more designed for swingers and has a larger area for nude things, sexual things, etc... Hope we are not wrong, but that is how it looks.
We have never been to a place like this, and since this is our first we have decided we want to find a wild and go for it place... might as well jump in head first...

If they are using it in a derogatory sense it may be because they are experiencing a certain level of self loathing because they are struggling to accept their own sexual nature or they may have peers and family that would do their best to destroy them were they to live so free as you are. I think that the anger that leads to name calling and judgment sometimes is a secondary emotion that people choose to embrace because the primary emotion is much more painful. They may want what you have but lack the confidence or courage to go find it for themselves and so the same people that call someone a slut in the derogatory sense far too often are the same people that go off and struggle with their own sexuality in dark places through lying, cheating, abuse and even darker acts while swimming in a sea of self loathing.
