Monogamish - - Seems like a day doesn't go by without a new article on the high failure rate of traditional monogamous relationships and the "new" trend toward open relationships. Are swingers ahead of the curve or is this all just new age hooey? Monogamish

Girls that are into DP - How common is this activity among the swingers? -

DVP?
I'll take either opening that I'm allowed in.
That scared me to sexy LOL

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - This isn't good, and no I do not expect anything close to "Fair & Balanced". That is why many of us prefer to keep it quiet and just between Us. Nothing on TV has ever made the Lifestyle look good or healthy, which is how many of us feel that are in it. Expect to be ambushed at some Party location in the near future, somebody will want to make more of this. Sorry for the negative view, I am hoping it isn't that way.

Donte and bre - Hot swingers - I’m not even sure wtf that said ... or why it was said 😂

Comfort level of casual vs relationships? - -
We are still fairly new to this whole lifestyle shindig; just under a year. Trying to figure what aspects we like, don’t like and are just meh. I’m curious though, when it comes to forming emotional connections with other people how open are you to the idea? If it’s a scale of 1 - 10. One being completely casual, “what was your name again” sex and two being “I deeply love you and want you to come live with me and my other two wives” sort of deal... where do you fall? ::: For us we are discovering that we prefer the more connective experiences and don’t shy away from words like “love” or “relationship”. But we also love just super casual fun experiences. All of it entirely contingent on the people involved. So not quite true swingers but also not quite true poly. Trying to see how common or uncommon that is.
Oh man if two is come live with me and my two other wives I can't imagine what 10 is ;). For us we definitely don't need "feelings" involved but I do want to have some sort of connection with the other people. I dont think I could do a wham bam thank you ma'am type of situation. That being said we have played on the first meeting so idk that probably makes me a hypocrite 🤷‍♀️

Meeting couples at places other than lifestyle events/clubs - - We are opening up to more people in the work place and in general to some of our understanding friends. Which so far has been great, infact we've turned a few friends into swingers. We are always open about our sexuality and sex life in general so when people talk to us about stuff and they find out about our lifestyle. They tend to come back later asking more and more about it. Overall the searching through profiles does get old, but we do enjoy seeing new and old friends come on the site. For us the chats and private meets are exciting. its kinda fun to do a bit of searching.

BBW Couples in Salt Lake Area? - Newbies - Hey guys, My wife and I are completely newbies to the swingers lifestyle, we have had couple of threesomes fmf and some soft swap with another couple. We would like to find and develop friendships with BBW females and BBW couples, and take it to the next level. We have the idea of making friends in/out bedroom and have lots of fun. We have tried Craiglist before with no luck we realized theres nothing safer than this. Feel free to message us, send us a friend request. Thank you.

asking your swinger friend if you can join them. - -
Well, I have a co-worker that I have been friends with for a while and recently found they are a swingers, it wasn't shocking to me or anything just thought it was interesting. So some time has passed and I thought I wonder if I could join them sexually. To me it would just be awkward to as him that. Obviously I'm not going to ask him "hey can I bang your wife?" I don't care if it was both of them or just her, I've always thought she was hot and I consider my co-worker a good friend. So, how do I ask that and/or is it a bad idea? Thanks
As a single male also in this lifestyle who has faced a similar situation my advice would be to just openly talk about the lifestyle, involve both him and his wife in the convo casually over drinks one night when your just hanging out. Basically plant a seed and see if it grows, realistically if they are into the lifestyle and are open to the idea they will invite you, but its best to let them think its their idea to include you. For some couples it just might be out of bounds to include friends into their sexploits.

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News -
I was a journalist and I know Heidi. Hers was a reasonable, balanced report that focused on one woman who clearly had an awful experience. I'm sad she focused on a couple who were LDS. From our experience, I suspect she represents the majority who "try" swinging. There was a TV story done many years that was far worse than this one.
Please explain how you define "balanced." A balanced report on one woman's experience? The woman she reports on was abused. "Looking back, Susan said she feels like she was groomed into the lifestyle." "It was a lot of pushing by my ex-husband, a lot of coercing. He had friends call and talk to me about it." This is typical of an abusive relationship. She was thrown into the lifestyle to cure her relationship, let's also talk about the other abused women forced to do things they aren't interested in, that would be balanced. Also, "but she contracted the STD after he engaged in solo sex with another woman." Interesting, this solo woman could have been a swinger, a woman he picked up at a bar, a church function, or even a prostitute. Not a very clear report on this abusers sexual escapades. I'm just glad "Suzan" was still wearing her black ring..

KSL swing story - - For those of you guys out of town. This is the transcript from the KSL website. "Everyone has shared their partners with everyone else in the room." "You're in happy valley and you think nothing like that could happen." An Eyewitness News Investigation takes us inside a delicate subject few people like to talk about -- infidelity, couples cheating, in secret, in the open, and joining a movement that appears to be gaining momentum. We heard persistent rumors that spouse-swapping and adultery is commonplace in certain suburban neighborhoods. We discovered those rumors were based on at least some truth. People told us they were being recruited -- marriage counselors say they are seeing more if it. There aren't statistics or easy answers, but it's clear the effects can be devastating. Love, commitment, holy matrimony. In Utah, where marriage vows and family values run deep. Woman: "They said it was more exciting when their spouse was involved." This story will open eyes to something many would like to keep secret. "It was taboo within their religious background." "I thought, this can't be happening here. This is Utah." Sometimes it's kept very quiet, among neighbors and friends. Other times, it's out in the open. Studies show infidelity is to blame for more than half of divorces in Utah. What we found surprised even experts. We knocked on doors, attended a party. We heard stories by phone, by email, but nothing could match what we heard in a pocket of Draper. "Something was wrong with every other neighbor in that neighborhood." Her husband's indiscretions shattered their marriage. "Intensely, intensely painful. It's the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life." The divorce final, he remarried one of their neighbors within a week. It seems adultery ran rampant. Up the block it was consensual with other married neighbors cheating together. People told us they moved to get away from it and stayed inside to avoid it. Across town one woman told us she just wanted to run from it: "Everyone in the room had shared their partners with everyone else in the room. These people had been married five, 10, 20 years." She and her husband were invited to a barbeque with couples from Draper, Provo, Sandy and Salt Lake. A doctor made a move. "He's hitting on me, like he's single, and his wife's sitting right there. I think, there's another motive to this party and it's not just to hang out and meet new people." They got out of there. While there's no data, experts say it's proof of a trend. Vicky Burgess/Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist: "I think, because sexual relations and sex itself is more open, I think we're seeing more of it." We found there are several parties where couples can meet. Randy Chatelain, Ph.D./ Marriage and Family Therapist: "I believe this kind of behavior is going to catch up with a couple, because where does it stop? What more do you have to involve to create the high?" Hundreds of couples pack a popular Sandy nightclub. "A lot of people nowadays have fantasies and they want to fulfill them with their significant other. This is the best way to do that." This man, who asked not to be identified, built a business, helping couples meet at parties. His website suggests spouses can be in love and still enjoy sex with others. "They figure, 'I would much rather do it with the person I love than have them do it behind my back.'" From the looks of it, he's pretty successful. He has 4,000 members living in Utah. How fast is it growing? Four years ago there were 150 members. How common is it? Posing as a married woman, we signed up on a website aimed at so-called "swingers." In six days, 70 married men, most from Utah, ask to start a fling.
