Why do they run? - Why do most couples run when you suggest a real full swap? - We would not go for that. And a couple with whom we play did that for awhile and it damned near wrecked their marriage. What you are talking about is very close to just plain cheating. Successful couples, swingers or vanilla, are generally inward looking, looking at one another to the exclusion of the world or back to back facing the world together. From our point of view, at least, swinging is merely an extension of sex for fun in which other people take the place of toys. We don\'t for one moment forget that they are people and not actually toys but in termns of our own relationship they are peripheral though they may also be good friends. To split as a couple so that each may go his or her own way later to regale the other with his or her exploits doesn\'t work. I don\'t want my wife to tell me about her antics with another man. I want to see her with another man.

BDSM and Swingers? - Where does BDSM fit in the swingers' world... your thoughts and experiences? - Our experience (almost 30 years in the lifestyle) is that the kink community and the swinging community don't mesh all that well. Sure there are some swingers who are into BDSM but by far most people who practice BDSM aren't swingers and more than a few actually look down on swingers (funny, if you think about it) for having consensual sex with multiple partners (with or without whips and chains). We've dabbled in very light BDSM a time or two and found that it DEFINITELY isn't our thing and other than maybe a little spank on the ass during doggy style sex it isn't the thing for about 99.9% of the swingers we've met. But look around a bit and you'll find a few swingers who like to play act BDSM on occasion and perhaps even a few who actually practice it as a lifestyle along with their swinging.

Exotic Dreams Resort and Hotel in Palm Spring - -
My wife and I are just exploring the idea of engaging in the lifestyle but haven't quite yet. Would a resort like this be a good place to "watch from a distance" amd maybe meet and chat with others in a similar situation?
You can absolutely go to a resort and "watch". When we went to Hedo we were shocked at how many total newbies were there (outnumbered the seasoned swingers 2 to 1...but that could have been an anomaly for all we know). But we also saw more than a few inexperienced couples who caused some drama because they got there, got all hot and bothered, and weren't ready for the consequences (and weren't on the same page as far as the "what if's" of jumping into the lifestyle). YMMV

Swinger & 🦄 Bait - An experiment to attract swingers and unicorns. - No unicorn bait to be seen at Vasa in AF, Utah... Guess we should bring some.

Know any Mormon swingers in SoCal? - Single girl in SoCal wants to know! - nothing screams anal like those one piercers with that ass flap.

Why we ORGY - Why we ORGY - And now, a word from a noob... My wife and I have only been in the LS a few months, but I feel we have experienced quite a variety of experiences in that time, including house parties, LS clubs and basically an orgy party. We felt comfortable at all of them, but certainly the most pressure we have experienced came from the orgy-type party. It has been the only time when random men thought they could basically touch my wife, lift her skirt and ask to fuck her repeatedly, all without an invitation. We are pretty mellow and level-headed, so I think I did a pretty good job of turning them away without causing a scene, but had we been a little more sensitive I think it may have been a huge turnoff. So when I hear the word orgy, I think of a large party where basically everyone is there to just fuck, not socialize, and nobody really cares about who their dick is in or whose dick is in them. That is probably great for a lot of people, and I don't want this to sound flippant or elitist, but us as a couple we seem to have a higher standard than many swingers out there. In our short time we have already encountered non-clean people, irreverent people, very uneducated people, super creepy people and huge drama people. So to just show up at a party and hope that the plethora of couples we are playing with are clean, non-crazy and haven't been fucking everything from here to Texas, well... I just don't assume that to be true. Notice I didn't say much about looks. Yes, looks are important, but to us, we are looking for more just a hole and a pole. My point is, looks are secondary to many other things. And the only way to establish those "other" things, is to get to know the couple a little. Granted, we are super new to this and are moving slowly into the LS and we don't have that "notch on the belt" mentality yet, but so far, some of our best times have been getting to know the people, connecting, feeling that sexual energy between everyone, and then moving into the play room. We don't expect a couple to provide us any missing emotional support we are lacking in our marriage, as we have a great marriage. We also have a great sex life and this is just an adventure we are taking as a couple. It seems to me the orgy scene is more for people with open marriages, full swap different rooms, or people who otherwise don't care who their spouse if fucking. I trust my wife completely, but I don't trust others, and my need to protect her seems natural enough. Oh,maybe in a huge orgy you can both experience things together, but it does seem like you just jump in a pile and fuck whoever is in front of you. If not, then it is more a social, where you all talk first, enjoy each other's company, tell some jokes and get know the couple, then, if interested, you can all go fuck. So to me, that scenario is a social, not an orgy, which is the topic at hand. An orgy is more of a situation where you show up, who cares if you talk, drop your pants and start fucking. It seems more dangerous to me on an STD level as I don't imagine if you fuck 10 girls in a night you are changing condoms every time, or even wearing one, though I realize my assumption may be completely off, just giving you my opinion here as to why I wouldn't be AS interested in an orgy (it still would be fun to watch). Also, questions like "how many people have you fucked this week" and "do you wear protection" are much easier over a glass of bourbon than while sucking on a cock or pussy. Probably a little awkward. So... to finalize this huge monstrosity, different strokes for different folks. We like meeting new couples, we like to make new friends and we feel there is a greater reward with friends with benefits. Just as in our marriage where our sex is great because we know the other person so well, so we think playing with others may be enhanced by our understanding of the other couples needs and desires. Do we ever think it is fun just to meet somebody and play immediately? Probably. But do we think that our long term goals, our health and our mutual respect for each other is better served by meeting a couple, having the time to discuss how we feel about the couple in the privacy of our marriage and then moving forward as we both agree upon is the best way for us? Most definitely. And the small amount of wasted time we may experience trying to arrange meetings is a small price to pay for that piece of mind. We have made great friends, that if we never played with again, would still be our friends, so that is just icing on the cake. And maybe we have been lucky but we haven't experienced a lot of flakes, just a lot of busy, cool people with jobs and families, just like ourselves. So say we all!!

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - If you choose individually not to play with singles, then that is ok. We all have our preference. However, why try and bad mouth the entire group, in an attempt to demonize them to everyone else or to exclude them from social gatherings. But Don I am not trying to demonize them ALL I did say in my experiance 75 to 80% ... LOL... I just host M&G and meet them there other than spend my time on emails.... and I don't bad mouth the entire single males group...... trust me I do give them a chance when writting to me... now if right of the bat I get can we chat on yahoo?... can we trade pics?... I say...pics for what?... you can see mine on here... I say am sorry but I don't think we are a match... now if it was like that pesky one this morning I say FU I already blocked you for a reason.... I host M&G's ever month over here... last time we had 3 cpls and and 10 single guys in my room... so obviously I don't push them all away.... Now Uluv...... he seems like a preatty decent, respectfull guy... but he is not our type, that is all... and I don't think we are his type either... so you see we all have our preferance when it comes to who we are going to take to the room, car, beach, rooftop ...lol

Tired of Politics and Religion! - - Quack quack ;) There is a reason why there are many categories on the front page for forum topics. It's called diversity. Something that many so-called swingers claim to hold as a tenet of their lives. So...in theory, there is a little something for everyone. Gosh...there are even sexual/Lifestyle-related categories...which PROBABLY means that someone...if they get REALLY wild and crazy...just MIGHT actually generate a thread that's based on something sexually oriented. Of course...it's wholly conceivable that those same "someones" JUST might prefer to expend their energy composing and generating a thread that whines about the non-swinging threads. Perhaps ADMINISTRATOR should add an additional category to the list and call it "JUST FOR THE SAKE OF WHINING". I'm certain that this thread would be very apropos for that category. Come on people...get real...and get a life...and evolve. If you're soooo tired of the religion/politics discussions of late...start a thread of something you like; of something PRODUCTIVE, and bump the ones you don't like off the front page. Yes...it's really THAT simple! Gosh! J

couples more [oft ] ask for couples or single females. why is th - - As a single male, I feel I must put my 2 cents in. I've personally heard some horror stories from some couples in dealing with single males. First, we are not all assholes. For instance, I always respond to all my emails with tact and class, even though sometimes you may not like what I have to say. I prefer to get to know a woman and perhaps seduce them. Sticking my dick in a woman, one minute after I meet her, doesn't appeal to me. Secondly, i'm reading about all kind of statistics being quoted. They all maybe true but there is only one statistic that I believe and practice. Apart from a monogomous relationship, the only effective way to decrease your chances of catching a std, is to wear a condom. Condoms aren't 100% effective, but I always use them. If you've met someone in your public life over the years that have lied to you, isn't it likely that some swingers will lie about thier health? Who hasn't met some online that sent a fake pic and lied about what they look like? Before couples were couples, they were single.

Playing with \"swingers\" vs \"nonswingers\" - - Okay this probably doesnt make alot of sense, but here goes. We went to the bar the other night and met some new folks, regular guys that aren\'t in the lifestyle- that is they are just regular single young guys. I love to flirt so I had picked out a particular nice guy and we were playing pool etc. Well I happened to mention that hubby and I were swingers etc.... Now my question is, do you only play with someone else who\'s into the lifestyle? This guy really wanted to get in on some action with me and now thinking about it, I just feel nervous. It has brought back old anxieties about when I was single and all the single assholes out there that were looking to just get laid and kick you to the curb. At least in this lifestyle, you get to know people and there is a certain kind of understanding about sex and you usually know that the person you will be fucking cares about you in some respect. I am trying to make a decision about whether to let this guy in or not for some play. I just can\'t decide how I feel about it. Any input would be appreciated!!! XOXOXO Jen
