We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Well the first and biggest thing i can see is communication, especially between the couples before they play. I dont know why its so hard to ask your partner whether it be a girl or guy if this is ok and if not just let them know. Wishbones - - Since we joined the lifestyle we've thought the idea of a symbol of some sort was a great one. I've read about the apple, but not the wishbone before now. I think swingers are in a good place for this right now - the internet has made it possible for those with an interest to pursue it, but it's not mainstream enough so that people who are in it "stand out." Pretty much everybody knows about the rainbow now, but I think very few would know about a swingers symbol, for a while anyway.
Whether it was the rainbow or what ear the earring went in as a sign for gays, or I believe at one time the BDSM community used bandanas to communicate preferences, it's great to have a way to be tipped off that others share the same interest. It'd be nice if this takes off.

There are certainly some things to look at and make sure we won't have too many problems. I think there are a number of ways to get around any issues. What happens on a private residence is up to those who own the property. I think this is one of the reasons it would have to be a private club, members only. What consenting adults choose to do isn't illegal in a venue like a club any more than it is illegal in a private residence. The trick, as I understand it, is that the venue cannot be a public venue because then you run into public exposure and indecency laws. I could be wrong, and I would have to find someone who understands these kind of laws... the question is... who would actually know... lol.
You are correct, there will certainly be some challenges, but I think they can be worked through.
As for your idea of renting a house or something like that, I have thought about the same thing and it may be a good idea. Not a fix for what is needed in a club, but it is a start.

Wishbones - - We were invited to a meet and greet awhile back and hung around the lounge for several hours waiting for the couple who invited us. We found out later that most of the couples at the club were swingers, but as it was not a swinger's club, we were hesitant to approach perfect strangers and ask if they were swingers. Getting a black eye or broken teeth is not our idea of a good time! A symbol of swingularity (lol) would have been useful in this situation.
