Odd pattern. - Why the interest/disinterest? - I'm not surprised to see mentions of homophobia and haste in filling out the profile as possible reasons; I hadn't thought of the male ego being so driven as to ignore disinterest from gay women. Yet that ego can't be reasoned w/ when the interested person's equipment matches the imagined ideal but the original birth certificate does not, even when reproduction is not on the table.

AHARLEYCPL, not only is hate mail unwarranted, I'm personally pleased this discussion, for all its potential thorns, hasn't disintegrated into discriminatory ugliness like it would on some sites where the membership is more mainstream; I think it's b/c swingers already think outside the societal norms when it comes to expressing sexuality and have more of a 'live and let live if no one gets hurt' mentality. THIS - we had no expectations, so we have not been disappointed. We did have a few ātrainwrecksā along the way - learning āthe ropesā, mostly because Mr Sweet didnāt do his homework. Weāve been surprised by how much we crave more and better relationships. This LS has exceeded anything we even fantasized about. Uber cool people - cherished friendships, just not enough time to meet so many great people ... or get naked with them (grin).
thoughts on Pictures - - Just our 2 cents on the subject.......Some people have to protect themselves for reason of job, family, community and what have you. Here we have no problem with a genital shot AS LONG as they have facial or g-rated full pics to back up what they show. We have g-rated that we are glad to send to others once we get to know them a bit and b/4 we would meet. We have seen on other sites, people using other peoples pictures and have seen some pictures that were removed from a certain site and openly posted on the internet. We are sure that most people do not want their pastor, mayor or next door neighbor to receive a picture of them shouting to the world that they are swingers!

How to add an event? - Looking into adding an event. - A friend of ours is operating a local club and wants to promote a swingers night. We were asked if we could potentially help with this. We'd like to create an event on the events page. But I'm not sure how. I'm assuming there is some additional verification that has to take place first?
Also i know many events seem to be restricted to couples and single females, is it a bad idea to open events up to everyone? This would be a semi public venue so it would be difficult to restrict attendees.
Is this one of your rules? What is it? is it fear? or something - Does everyone feel this way? - For the record, we're fuck first, friends later types. We didn't become swingers to make new friends. We could have joined the Rotary Club for that. LOL Frankly, we like our non-swinging life. We became swingers to add a few special "others" to our already great sex life. It was about fulfilling some group fantasies and the wife's bi-curiousness that did it for us.
It's a LOT more serious for us to decide to be friends with someone than it is for us to decide whether or not to fuck them. It takes a LOT longer than deciding "do 'em/don't do 'em" does.
