We live here. Our experience is that most couples do not hate single men. Most married men are not intimidated by the presence of single men. New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - We would attend as well about 2x a month or so. The ones we've been to in Las Vegas were fun but one was dirty and nasty. I would think a good dance area along with a pool table and seating area along with play rooms would be great. A big community type play room as well as individual play rooms or a room with windows would be fun. The main thing is keeping it clean! There's nothing worse than going into a dirty, disgusting play area.

Swingers Next Door! - ABC news story on Swinging! - I've heard that the A&E show is just what I thought it'd be, the young & beautiful and tension emanating from the vanilla neighbors. Of the 3 things I expected, so far, apparently, there hasn't been a marriage destroyed by swinging, but I'd be surprised if that doesn't turn out to be part of this "reality" show. But after just 1 episode, it looks like I'm 2 out of 3.
I'm sorry, but I really think the show is an attempt, probably successful, to exploit something most people would find edgy and fascinating. I'd love to see a REAL reality show about swingers, but somehow I doubt that will ever happen because it wouldn't fit the "successful TV show" formula well enough. The closest I know of to an honest portrayal of things society thinks are taboo was that "real sex" series. And look how long that lasted. Certainly not long enough to have covered the many things that would have fit into the show's premise. If it was still running now there'd still be lots of things out there for new episodes. My suspicion is that while the title might have been, the actual shows just weren't sensational enough for it to be a long term success. ~ Terry
Swingers Vacation Spots - Help us - I have to agree with a couple responses above...HEDONISM ROCKS. Hedo is in Jamaicca. They have 2 spots. Hedonism II and Hedonism III. They are an all inclusive vacation that you would buy. Depending on the time of year you go, you and your spouse could get an ALL inclusive (yes this includes drinks too) for probably under $2,000. We have intentions of going for our first trip to Hedonism in October 2004 (this will be our 10th anniversary). Las Vegas - Swingers clubs ect. - playhouselv.com or flirtslv.com both are great. Each a little different. Definitely would recommend flirts over playhouse but that's our opinion. You can try playhouse one night and flirts the next.
