Vegas: Swingers circle or couples oasis? - Which do I prefer - Never been to swinger circle. We were told about couples oasis when we lived in Vegas by other locals. WD have been to the green door , red rooster and couples oasis. And out of all three couples oasis was the one I liked the best. It is the only one that does not allow single guys. Nothing against them but in that kind of setting they tend to give off that creepy feeling. Anyways it kinda like the manor there is a cover and it would is BYOB. There's a bar with a dance floor. Pool tables with a snack area. A group play area and some private play areas also a outdoor pool. During the summer I think they have pool parties on Sunday. Out of the 3 it is the only one I would go back to.

Even stuff like wearing an ankle bracelet on a particular ankle or a single earring in a particular ear. Bottom line is, in this world of almost instantaneous and pervasive communication even if there WAS a ubiquitous symbol of swinging acceptance almost nobody would display it as they would quickly be outed to people they might not want to know about their little hobby. We've gone to conventions and hotel takeovers many times in the past and it usually took about a day for any vanillas nearby to learn what the wristbands mean and start gawking (or even trying to sneak in) and for the swingers to start hiding them under watches and bracelets or removing them entirely so as not to be identified. Another swingsite we're on even started a new smartphone app using GPS that alerts you if there is another swinger nearby. Almost nobody uses it in fear of somehow being ID'd as a swinger.

Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - i agree if the media changed the facts of the story, but i am sorry i don\'t agree with the post right above mine who was at the party and said that the kids were suppose to be in bed past midnight. I am 28 and male and if i was the 15 year old kid, i would have gotten a kick out of it, but i agree with him that it would be uncomfortable had i been with an 11 year old sister or with my parents...i mean i would have wanted to look but would have been embarrassed around the family...none of us should be telling paretns what time their kids should be going to bed on new years eve. when i was a kid, i would be out with my parents till 1 or 2 in the morning...i don\'t think we should be condoning the parents of those kids. I think the fault is completely at the hands of the hotel. they knew the swingers were going to be there, they shouldn\'t have had the soccer family there too, considering they had the party last year too and knew well in advance what was planned. I love swing parties, house nad clubs and otherwise, but i don\'t think we should blame parents for not having their kids in beds. the hotel should have warned the families...especially knowing that there would be a glass atrium that the swing party would be in...
