This lifestyle - What are we really? - What are we really? May seem like an easy question to answer or is it. Most might say "oh that easy we are swingers". Maybe you not a swinger at all maybe you polyamous. What the hell is polyamous?! Well polyamory is defined as having more then one love. Isn't that the same as saying friends with benefits. Well yes it is. True swinging is having sex just for the sake of having sex. No talking ...no getting to know each other...not caring one iota about the other person. Basically have sex and if the other person dies on the way home ...who give gives a shit! Not us...not at all. To me this lifestyle is a scale ....true swinger on the one side and true polyamory on the other...We are closer to the poly side as opposed to the true swinger side. WHat is so wonderful about that side is we can have fun with other people even if no actual sex occurs. Sometimes its nice to just be able to go out with like minded folks. Just wanted to let the people who feel the way we do understand that thier is others with the same thought process. Mordon and Jade

BUSTED! Your Kids Found Out Your Swingers. Now What? - - Not really sure how to say this but to be straight out in the open. I found out at about 16 that my folks were swingers (they are nudist also) so the house was a very open one. We had nothing to hide, I even played with some of their friends and they took me to my first house party.

Swingers Kickball Society - - We are interested.

Why the male side of Couples are here...? - I will admit I am hoping to spark some heated debate on this.... - Shit I had to read thru that whole thing like almost twice. Okay fine, I skimmed it almost twice. Why am I (or we) still in swinging (it will be thirty years in the not too distant future!)? For us it's about the great friendships. Sex is great. It's fun to explore that not only with each other but with other people occasionally. But it's totally secondary for us. With swingers, more than any other group of people we've found, we can be ourselves, say pretty much what we want, and not have to filter anything. With most vanillas, especially here in Utah, we really have to tread lightly and watch what we say and do. With swingers we can laugh our asses off, totally make fun of the world and even flirt without anyone getting too bent out of shape. I'm sure I don't have to tell you what would happen if you did that with most of your vanilla friends. So yeah, friendships are why we stay. Any sex that happens is just the frosting on the Pop-Tart for us. As for when we're "70+...who will be taking care of you"...I would hope I can pretty much take care of myself, still control my bowels and bladder and occasionally still climb in the saddle and give Ms. Evil a jolly good geriatric rodgering. If I can't I would hope one of my good swinger friends will put me out of my misery by locking me in a room with an insatiable 22 year old redhead for a few hours and then scattering my ashes over the beach at Hedo II. ;-) Seriously, 70 AIN'T that old! I know a guy who still runs marathons (admittedly not very fast) in his 90's!

Meeting new swingers? - Where to meet them? - We seem to have about 70/40 percent Club VS Web Sites, but we can really say for all the people we have met...we havent been dissapointed.......

How close is too close - - I think that the question poses a number of possibilities... If only one person is starting to feel something beyond sexual attraction then that person should step back and examine why they are feeling this way. If it is only one way then the person who is having the feelings needs to take stock of the reality of the situation and realize the potential problems involved. If the situation is mutual and noone else realizes it then the two involved need to discuss it... and they both have to weigh the situation. Why is this happening and are the possible ramifications worth the risks involved... If it is possible talk about it with everyone concerned and make a determination as to what needs to be done. I've actually heard about a situation where a couple split over a swinging situation and the lady from the one couple went with the guy from the other couple and the gal from the other couple went with the husband of the woman that went with her husband.. A real twist on the concept of swapping.... Being poly may put a totally different slant on how I look at this problem... since I am involved with a married woman. My wife and her husband are not poly... The other couple are not swingers and we are very good friend as couples... and everyone knows about she and I. It's very difficult to explain to anyone how this works but it does and it can..... So I have a unique perspective on love and swinging... or just married people and love between non married people in married situations. I would generally say, however, that swingers should not get into love situations unless you and your mate and the other couple can handle this situation.. If a love relationship starts to happen run don't walk to the nearest exit and don't turn around. Just possibilities .. There are quite a few poly people involved iin swinging...including some of the older people entering into swinging... They are looking to expand their sexual and love relationships as well. THere are also younger people in the lifestyle who are poly.. The subject has come up a surprising number of times of various swinger sites... So if you're not poly and start to feel love for someone other than you mate... Assess you first as to why... but regardless, if you love your mate....get away fromo that particular situation... Ray

Okay shitheads. What about relationships??? - -
Its all about personal preference. Not a required "line" we are all required to have. We respect people's varying preferences and the way they like to play. Doesn't mean anybody has more or less respect due to that particular factor.
I totally agree Kitty. You've always been a wise and good yummy friend! Is it horrible that we don't wanna play if we don't have some kind of "emotional" or "common" bond with the people we meet? It's not just a "physical" game for us...it's a trust and commonality, and even a compatibility issue. We aren't very good at this whole "swinging" thing if you wanna "fuck me and forget me". We've only played 3 times in almost 4 years. Are we swingers, experimental, or just frigid??? We play with girls a lot, but it's a whole new world when we wanna jump into a 2X2.

Lake Powell Trip June 11-14 (Last Topic got deleted somehow) - - OK,, not sure where the Announcement went but lets do this again.... Every year, we put on a Lake Powell trip. In previous years, it has been a mixed crowd,, swingers and vanillas. This year we are going to change it up and add a trip in June that is Lifestylers only. Dates for this are June 11-14. We are still doing the August trip as well, but it will be a bit tamer than the June trip. Houseboats will be availible for those that want to go. The cost last year for the houseboats worked out to be around $800 for the 4 days per couple. This included fuel. With decreased fuel prices this year, it should be a bit less. If we get enough people to warrant it, and if I can talk the pig supplier to provide pigs twice in one year (Yes, Buttabing, this is directed towards you) we will do a luau pig on Saturday night. Last year, some people tent camped as well so staying on a houseboat is not a requirement. As a courtesy though to those that are renting the houseboats, if you do use the amenities of the houseboat such as bathrooms, showers, cooking and kitchen stuff, etc... you donate to whoever rented the boat. Having a boat is not a requirement. Those that do have them don't seem to have a problem "adopting" those that don't. A bunch of peeps from this site went last year and from what we hear, everyone had a good time. I will need commitments from those that want to go no later than March 29th so I can ensure that I tie up enough houseboats for those that want them.

Swingers Dares - Text for cards in the game - We know one girl who would go for the "triple" dare always. Right *S*? We like your suggestions 333 ... specially the "guinea pigs" tempting one... wink wink.

Were young but give us a chance!!! - - I notice that you two signed up just about two weeks ago? I would say first off to give it time. Trust and friendships within the swinging community often takes time and cultivating. It is a large and close-knit community...which means that the more people that you meet, you will meet their friends and get more peeps in your "swinging network". Only being on this site for 2 weeks means that your exposure to the social side of the community has been VERY limited. To compound that, you're legally underage for the types of activities (drinking) and venues that many of these activities occur. Be patient, and look for the other ways to meet people on here. The chat room is always a good start, there is a good variety of swingers from all age groups and social statuses that are there. Being active (in a POSITIVE, not argumentative way...we all know who we are) on the Forum threads is another way to get yourselves better known. What I would NOT do, however...is whine that you're not getting any chances given to you. That arguement is certainly not unique to the younger crowd here, as many of the older people can complain that they're not given a chance either due to their age, gray hair...whatever. Trust me...you don't want a reputation for being a complainer. Time & patience.... ~J~
