Divorce rates - How do we compare - We are a bit of an older couple with a different prospective. Amoung our swinging friends and aquaintances if we were to generalize it is that they are on a second marriage, have been married for 10 years or so and are very happy. Amoung our non-swinging friends they are on their first second, or third marriage and are generally unhappy. I would put the divorce rate amoung the non-swingers at more than double that of the swingers over a 10 year period.
So what attracted you to swinging and at what point in your life - - I married the man who helped me escape my virginity....we were each others first time. We had college friends who were swingers and when I started to feel trapped and agitated about monogamy at age 21, it was natural for us to consider the lifestyle as the best of both worlds.
A question for singles..... - and please be honest. - After reading some of the comments... It begs the question aren't the singles on here advertising the fact that they are or want to be swingers? Looking for partners to explore the swinging experience? Or are they just people who are looking to get free sex? I'm not saying that any of it is wrong but singles used to date then have sex and then get involved with others. I'm not sure when the swinger sites became dating sites for sex starved singles. age versus pics - - We have always had pics with our profiles, and we don't mind letting people see who we are. We've never had any problems yet. We figure if someone sees us on a swingers website, they must be there for the same reasons we are, or they wouldn't be looking in the first place.
We have pictures from last week, and we have some from several years ago. I doubt if anyone could really tell the difference. We're one of those lucky couples who have looked the same for a long time. We feel that if our pics are an accurate view of what we really look like, it really doesn't matter how old they are. We'd never try to fool anyone about what we look like. That would be dishonest, and that's just not us.
