As to the difference between morals and ethics; I have always believed that morals are those things society pushes on you, be it your church, the law, family, ect, while ethics are those things you take for yourself and make a part of your own beliefs and actions.
Do I view myself as moral? Not really. I have consciously chosen to ignore those things which society has attempted to push on me in favor of what I believe to be right and wrong. I obey laws I don't agree with not because I believe those laws to be moral, or myself to be moral, but because I do not wish the repercussions of breaking those laws. That and I live in serious red-neck country and our prostitutes are just downright scary .
Black Ring - Who has theirs and how have they caught on? - We both have black rings and have worn them in public and to places like Habits, etc.. And we've done this off and on for well over 10 years (when we first became aware of what seems to be more or less a swinging urban legend). To date we have NEVER been approached by another couple and asked if we were swingers or anything close to it. Maybe we're just fugly and nobody wants to fuck us but the whole black ring thing is a big FAIL IMHO. First thing, you said that you have been divorced TWICE. That is not deadly in itself, but some personal examination of why is a good thing. For the most part, swingers are not looking for problems or \"bagage\" just fun social and sexual things with folks.
