We are very new at going to parties and so we may try a few meet and greets this weekend... plus we want to find some couples to talk to, who may have been to hedo11. We are thinking of going there, or a place like that, next Spring or Summer and want to get ideas on where to go, how they are, etc..

We have been to the meet and greets too and we don't go very often and have not been to one in ages. Maybe twice a year we hit one but when we do go we pretty much introduce ourselves to everybody and if we missed someone we didn't mean to. You do have to be proactive to be successful in meeting people or at least reactive in a positive fashion when someone interesting approaches you. We have been to Habits and ended up leaving with someone, but we had already had a bit of friendly back and forth somehow with the people we left with or it was someone we met previously and had at least chatted a bit. We think we have only been there maybe five times altogether. Well, maybe Mr. Delicious will put on a collared shirt just in case we head that way but for now we are thinking maybe the Green Pig sounds fun. [/quote]

Sounds dandy. For a limited time Mr. Delicious is sporting a now two week old full beard to contrast his shaved head. Part of a guy thing going on with some of his friends. It's a fine line, being discreet and wanting to share bad experiences. I think you hit the nail on the head with your 'share with friends' comment.
I have a few couples that I spend time with who 'look out for me'. They know that I see single guys and are pretty frank with me when they have a bad experience. In fact, recently, I got an IM from one of them that started, "in your ongoing quest to find the ultimate single man, AVOID _______ at all costs" It was pretty funny.
I appreciate these people who look out for me...... you know who you are !!!

ANSWER: Not nessecary but what the relationship of spiritual not to be mistaken for religous by anymeans, does for any person or couple is absolute mindblowing and is incredible. The out come of any relationship sexual, friendly, business, etc.. that you cross among has no bearing on your choices. It has enhanced Tre and I's relationship to levels never dreamed of and we dream big NOW. so I say that if a couple breaks up over swinging well it was just meant to be and they only put the thrusters in it. It would have been the outcome for any reason in the future if they didn't swing too.

Tooele Thirsty Thursday OCT 8 - looking to do a meet and greet with tooele couples - so i already posted in our tooele group but would love to meet a few tooele couples who partake in the lifestyle. so after talking to the mrs. we figured wed like to do a meet and greet at (to keep this for couples tell me your interested and ill pm you the location.) on oct 8 at 7pm. this gives the tooele swingers a bit of an easy way to meet and get to know each other. hopefully we can make this a regular thing and maybe include some fun down the line as well.
Psychology Research Results - This is a follow up to my earlier post. This is what I found because some showed interest. - I would like to thank everyone who did the research survey for me. I hypothesized that non swingers would view us as more capable of deviant behavior like using drugs and alcohol in large amounts. I was correct. I hypothesized that swingers were more likely to use positive methods to handle relationship conflicts and I was also correct. I also hypothesized that swingers would have high openness to new things and high extroversion. We did find that swingers were more open to new experience but there wasn't enough on the other. Something we found interesting was that non swingers used more aggressive methods to solve relationship conflicts and they had high sexual depression. My teacher is talking about possibly working on this to get it published. I am beyond happy that I can show us in a better and more recent light. Thank you all for your help. Single Males vs. Unicorns - this is ridiculous - I block ANYBODY that has repeatedly made himself/herself/themselves annoying, obnoxious, and/or rude. And I have more married males (who's wives ARE around and part of the couple's playtime) act inappropriately than I've had single males. But yeah... if someone is acting obnoxious and I don't wanna hear it (or read it I guess), I use the block button. Works wonderfully.
And for the other topic that's surfaced. Plenty of these single men can find dates. They just choose swingers due to their sexual preference. If you wanna get rude and say single men are here cuz they need to steal someone else's girl... couldn't this also go for married men? Or the women for that matter? Seriously. We're all here cuz we have this particular sexual preference. Now play nice and block those that don't know how. :P
