Swinger & 🦄 Bait - An experiment to attract swingers and unicorns. -
Glad people like the post...sometimes these forums (okay most of the time...) are so boring. We all need a little levity. Plus there are so many quirky funny things about the LS. We are trying to have more fun with it and even poke fun at ourselves. We are also trying to get a good following of LS folks on Instagram so we can start sharing fun things to do you n the SLC area and hopefully create some informal weekend gatherings at local clubs and stuff. kids and pets - why - *Yawn*....oh...is this topic still being discuessed? I thought we moved on to the next one already.... Regardless of anyone's personal feelings on the matter, Swingular has policies in place regarding pics. If it states no kids...well then...there should be no kids. It's kind of a no-brainer folks. Relative legality and other gobbeltygook is pure nonesense. It's part of the rules of the site we all agree to by signing up. If you don't like pics of pets...simply browse past them. If you don't like pics of messy houses or looking at the relative slob-like nature of your fellow swingers...simply browse past them. It's that simple. Now quit your damned whining and party!

real members? - - You've struck on an interesting topic. I call them cyber swingers. They are swinger wanna be's . They find the thought of swinging erotic and interesting but they don't have the balls to actually get involved in the lifestyle. They like to hide behind the safety of their computer screen. They'll exchange email with you as long as you're willing or dumb enough to keep writing them. They'll never actually meet you or anyone else. That would be way too personal and would force them to crawl out from behind the security of their computer. Or you ocasionally run into the single guy that has created this fictional "couple". It's all a big game for him. He's just there to collect photos or maybe trick someone into playing with him because his wifes is "unavailable " at the moment. Whatever their game they're all the same because they both violate the principles of honesty and trust that the lifestyle revolves on. We get email all the time from couples that "have read your profile--think you guys are great and want to get to know you better". That generally sends off alarm bells for us. We'll respond and exchange an email or two. If the other couple doesn't have pics posted or pics of just one of them we ask for additional photos in the first email. Since we have good pics of both of us in our profile we never send any other pics other than those posted. If we get the "don't have any pics of him or he's camera shy or don't have a camera yet" or any one of the other lame excuses we've gotten over the past year or so--that's it--you're done as far as we're concerned. We'll give out our cell phone number right away and tell them to call us or give us theirs and we'll call them. We want to speak to both of them. If we can't because one's not there we'll call back at a more convenient time when we can talk to both of them. If everything seems ok during the conversation we'll make a date to meet at a convenient restaurant or club and take things from there. This seems to work well for us. It tends to weed out the "cyber swinger" right away. John & Colleen

New Topic...Dead Horses...Pest or Dead Sexy? - - Lets see? Either a marked propensity for some on here to want to beat them,or could it be a suggestion for location to have a swingers camp out like dead horse point? Hmmmm... though once dead they can be a pain to bury requiring rather large holes.

Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - Hello, I have a small penny to put into this. Don Juan, you are very wrong. People like u that say I pay my taxes that pay your wages. Guess what, for the past 17 years I've been paying taxes too. Just because our pay comes out of taxes doesn't make u my boss. Teachers, Soldiers, Sailors, Police, Firemen, EMT's. We all pay taxes. And too bad to say, Police, Soldiers, Sailors, EMT's, and Marines don't have a choice on who we protect or save. Memorial day is to remind the public to remember those that fell in the line of duty. Those that gave the greatest sacrafice for this country. It doesn't matter what war, or the reason. They served this country and lost their life doing it. It shows in all the military's core values. Honor is always first. So honor the fallen, don't disgrace them.

Combining Lifestyle & Non-Lifestyle Friends - - Ah, good topic AC! We're happy to have met many people here that we now consider good close friends that we don't have to hide from when we see them at the mall while we're out with our kids. LoL! It's nice to find those who can be vanilla because our whole life isn't about swinging. So, yes, we have had success in blending swingers into our vanilla lifestyle and we hope to find more:) Joe & Debbi

Help us out.. Take this Survey - For Utah Swingers - Thanks Bmshell for trying to make our Swing Lifestyle better. What parties of yours we have attended we found to be just what we expected from your advertising. Thanks for the time you spend to make a party for us to attend.

Swingers at work... - - My wife and I have had much the same experience. Recently, at my work a long time swing friend of ours that we had lost touch with (moved out of state) got hired to work at my company. At first I thought it could get a bit awkward, but it is all good. Luckily, our friend is very discreet and NEVER brings up anything about it at work. In the past, we have had to deal with the indiscreet folks that want to babble on and on about this party and who they saw there, but we haven't had to deal with that in several years which is a great thing.

How to identify yourself as a Swinger - -
LOL, yeah this subject...or fantasy (and the black ring, or the ankle bracelet, or the...(insert urban legend here)) crops up every few months or so. Bottom line, no matter how hard people want to find a way to ID other swingers in public it won't happen. Let's say for a minute that all or even just most swingers DID agree somehow on some kind of article to wear or display. It would take about 24 hours (likely less) for someone to post it online and it would be pretty much common knowledge within a week. Ergo nobody would actually display it for fear of being outed. Sorry, just human nature on all counts. We identify other swingers the old fashioned way. Sheer irrational speculation. Either that of we consult the Psychic Network. Both ways work equally well. [em]Emo_67[/em]
Ah yes, i see you point there. Makes perfect sense. Sorry if this was brought up before, cant seem to find a way to search the forums? Is there a way?

Swinger Literature? - magazine articles, books, web articles... - As EdNBrenda said a very good book would be "The Lifestyle." It is a little bit dated but the book is research based and has a lot of interesting information from history to demographics. It is not a book to grab for raw excitement but a very good book for intellectual discussion. What makes it unique is the book seems very objective and was written by a non swinger doing his research as an observer of the lifestyle. For a bit more fun read Dave Barry's article on Swing Conventions - here is a bit of it (email me for all of it). "You don't think of swingers as being the type of people who hold conventions. By ''swingers,'' I mean couples who swing with other couples. By ''swing,'' I mean, ``you know exactly what I mean.''ut my point is that you (and by ''you,'' I mean ''I'') don't think of swingers as being big conventiongoers. You think of them as hanging out at private parties, or exclusive swinger nightclubs, or secluded motels, or the Clinton White House. You don't picture swingers walking around large convention hotels wearing name badges and attending seminars, like executives in the forklift industry." "Attire aside, most of the swingers seemed to be regular people. In fact, according to a story about the convention in The Herald, the two most-common professions for swingers are police officer and teacher. This stunned me, especially the teachers. I mean, remember when you were a kid, and you were shocked whenever you saw a teacher at, say, the supermarket, because you didn't think of teachers as having any existence outside of school, or even necessarily as being food-eating life forms? Well, imagine if you encountered your trigonometry teacher wearing a garment that left absolutely nothing to the imagination regarding the cosine OR the hypotenuse." "I think that, as parents, we should be concerned about the fact this type of individual is being employed in our schools. Maybe we should notify the police." "No, wait."
