These people are kind, caring, successful people who I would love to have any of them as my neighbor. They have never tried to drag, lure, or trick, me. They have there rules of ethics, where no means no and they abide by it. At other parties I have attended I have had men keep hitting on me when I told them I was not interested, now to me that is wrong and disrespectful.
As a foot note; on a so called regular internet dating site I had over 120 men contact me and close to a half wanted a sexual relationship. So how is the 70 men a shocking figure? It pretty much what happens on the internet whether it is swingers or not. Its just on swinging sites they truthfully admit they are married instead of hiding it.

OUCH - Anyone caught swinging bu family or friends? - Ran into Ms. Evil's cousin a few years ago. Were invited to an annual bbq non-swing party by a couple who WERE swingers but they said even though all vanilla sometimes the party could got quite steamy. Hung out, drank a lot and flirted with all the cute vanillas and our hosts. Suddenly (while naked in the hottub) I saw Ms. Evil's cousin walk in. This lifestyle - What are we really? - I guess we are Poly-Swingers. Basically we are and have been swingers for some time now, I however, am quite poly and have several lady friends who I love deeply. Finding 2 couples is not as difficult as some might think. One of my lady friends is married and our families are quite close. Fact is they are not swingers at all but she is poly and he is poly friendly. The other is separated and both my wife and I love this lady to the ends of the earth. So we are poly.

another club under fire - club in peoria - PEORIA -- City leaders in Peoria will soon consider an ordinance aimed at outlawing private swingers clubs where couples meet and swap partners.
The ordinance is aimed at a local business called Club 307. The club sits a couple of blocks from the Police Department and is reportedly a swingers club.
Mayor Jim Ardis told the (Peoria) Journal Star that the city doesn't have an ordinance preventing couples from paying to enter a club and swap partners. But he believes the city needs one.
City Councilman Eric Turner thinks many people are disgusted that Peoria has such a club.
Nobody answered a call to the phone number listed for the club on Friday, and there was no way to leave a message.
The council plans to consider the ordinance Tuesday.

A caveat of this analysis is that it assumes a uniform distribution of swingers over the population of Utah. My guess is that this isn't the case but instead the density of swingers aligns with the density of more liberal thinkers. The net result is that it would put more swingers in the more densely populated areas with the highest density in SLC. That could easily swing the odds from 1 in 1,000 to 1 in 100. At least for those of us in SLC. For the poor suckers not SLC it could go the other way. :) That said, yes, I feel lucky enough to gamble basically nothing on 1 in 1,000 odds. ;)
