Indiscretion - - we have a male friend we have known for years. he got a new girlfriend who seemed to be eager to try swinging, she had a few experiences, mostly with us, but then they broke up for other reasons. we still see him but didn't try to stay in contact with her. so just a couple of weeks ago we go to our favorite biker bar, where we are regulars, the band was playing and the place was packed. and there she is, all sexy and looking for a new man, and about half drunk, with horny guys hanging all around her. she was overjoyed to see us, the only people she really knew in the place. so she makes it a point to introduce us to all her new friends, most of them already knew us but not about the swinging part of it, they were just playing along with the drunk chick. then she announces in way too loud a voice "and they're swingers too!" it was actually kind of funny, 2 other swinger couples we know were there and started sniggering. it is a biker bar, so no real harm done, and some other couples that we barely knew have been making it a point to get more friendly with us lately. so we got outed at our favorite hangout and the skies didn't fall in and nobody even seemed overly surprised or shocked. I didn't want to spoil her good mood, but the next day we called her and let her know that we would prefer to decide ourselves who we want to be privy to that information.

Christain Swingers? - - It depends on whether you take the scriptures literally, or, as in some faiths, a more objective and liberal view. Considering how it has been translated... as well as the group of men who decided which "books" would become the bible many centuries ago... there will always be disagreement. Try www.libchrist.com for info about this subject. QtCuplNJax

Gym locations again 2018!!! - Which gyms are you guys at? -

I’ve heard of treehouse. Is it true you guys have butlers? 😂
We are at Treehouse. Yes, we have butlers there, but we call them "man-servants or "towel boys." Lol Ironically we have never even been blinked at, let alone HIT on at the infamous "swingers gym." The staff is fastidiously careful to avoid even the slightest sexual comment or compliment. It's terrible. We just work out, throw up, and go home.
Love it

Oprah show on Swingers - - WOW.. we need to watch that.. if there is something going on in our neighborhood, we want to know so we can join.

Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger -
OMG! Just had a client walk in and notice my black tungsten wedding ring (I've had one for a couple of years now.) He told me that it I were to wear it on my right hand it would indicate I was gay.
There are some gays who wear their wedding rings on their right hands (solidarity against "the man" who doesn't let them marry, etc.) -- but "black" isn't a specific thing in the gay community as far as I can tell from some quick research. The middle finger on the right hand is apparently reserved for the asexuals. (People who aren't interested in sex). Although given that there are roughly 8 such people in the United States, I wouldn't stress too much over being confused with that community. If this gets any more complex, we're going to need a right-hand-ring governing body. =) I view the black-ring on a swinger-looking couple as the final checkbox of "oh.. yup.. definitely swingers... look.. both wearing black rings on the right hand". If I just saw a random person with a black ring on a right finger, I wouldn't think anything of it. I would just like to see it become more of a thing in Utah, like it is elsewhere in the country. =) My wife and I wear ours when we go out together for date-night... otherwise we don't bother with them. I know none of this will stop folks from screaming and yelling at how ridiculous it is -- But if you ARE going to scream and yell, don't forget to continuously remind as many people as possible how much credibility you have on the matter because you used to swing with the Flinstones. (On our swingers cruise recently, we DID enjoy the many stories from the elderly about what it was like to swing before the days of the internet... so this thread has become a bit like a free tropical vacation, in that sense!).

Game ON....which sign is Hornier...(is that a word?) - zodiac signs of swingers? - kathy is a aries jason is a leo

Single Males - -

...get a girl to join you....Not only do you now "bring more to the table", but you have the added credibility that if you can find and finesse a girl into joining you in this little adventure we call swinging (whether it be a girlfriend, a wife, a second cousin twice removed, or just a hot fwb) you might just not be a giant douchecopter.
Ignoring the need to "finesse" someone and unhealthy gender stereotypes in general, this line of reasoning is a little troubling as it presumes that a male's company is inherently worth less. Or that an absence of semi-romantic relationships somehow speaks poorly of his character. I personally think approaching someone whom you aren't already fairly close with and soliciting to go to a swingers party is a bit out of line. Especially if her company is sought as an accessory to demonstrate to others that he is not, as you say, “a douchecopter”. Call me old-fashioned.
I know we can't be the only people who secretly wonder just a little bit about some single guys and why they aren't with somebody. Do they secretly hate women (yes, we've met some that actually do), are they just too lazy (or busy, maybe...but hey, we're all busy) to find someone, are they serial killers and/or just not very nice guys?
Oh, I hope you are! That's a really unfortunate outlook to have. Promising relationships take time to find, let alone build to the requisite amount of trust and stability to try things like this. In the mean time, I don't see anything wrong with someone pursuing their interests while still holding out for someone worthy of their emotional investment. To me, that behavior is quite attractive should be respected! It doesn't get any better than someone who is confident, self-actualized, and motivated to pursue their desires. Sadly, it sounds their gender influences whether this is seen as a desirable trait. I'm not sure how long you've been out of things (30 years?), but it's easy to forget the struggle when you're comfortable in a marriage. Things are more fluid. People don't feel the need to settle down like they used to.
I know many will say they've tried and swinging is a deal breaker for most women. After almost 3 decades in the swinging trenches meeting and talking to other people, both couples and singles, we would disagree....many, if not most, women could eventually come around to the idea of swinging once they feel safe and secure in a relationship.
This is just confirmation bias if the evidence comes from a sample of people you have met while swinging.
...those of us who DID put in all the blood, sweat, and tears into a relationship and allow it to grow to the point of daring (don't think for a second we aren't risking a LOT in opening up our relationships to other people!) to allow others access to our significant other sometimes wonder why some others want to take a shortcut to all the sweet swinging bennies with little or no risk on their own part.
If you're not comfortable sharing your wife with someone you might view as a potential competition, you definitely don't have to. On the other hand, there are a lot of people enjoy it :) This smacks of the old “you must suffer as I did” chestnut.
Yes, I agree, "finesse" was a poor choice of words. In my defense, I was at work and rather in a hurry to make a point...that apparently I didn't make well (and my attempts to also be humorous apparently fell flat too). Rereading my post it does smack a little of mild gender bias but I can assure you that it wasn't my intent in any way and most certainly is not my outlook on women, relationships or life in general. My intent was simply to advocate approaching swinging as a mutually desirable activity that two partners desire and share equally in. And not that it matters, but I've shared my wife with probably over a hundred men, married and single, and I've never thought of any of them as competition. But I never thought of swinging as "sharing" my wife either, but instead as her deciding to be sexual with another person and me being totally okay with her decision to do so. Sharing her, to me, almost denotes some sort of ownership or at very least some kind of permission that I would have to give. Both those ideas are not a part of our relationship. Perhaps the concept of "competition" in swinging interactions is a single male attitude? I don't know. And I didn't mean it in any way, shape, or form as a "you must suffer as I did" trope but simply as the idea that we invested a LOT of hard work and time making our marriage what it is and together deciding to risk opening it up to the excitement and also the possibility of harm that is swinging. I think, perhaps, that sometimes single people in the lifestyle don't quite understand the very real possibility of permanent damage (or worse) to the relationship that couples who swing are flirting with. For many (most?) of us, our marriages/relationships are THE most precious thing we have. What, if anything, are you risking? A bruised ego?

Girls that are into DP - How common is this activity among the swingers? - Oh yes, DP is awesome. Still have yet to try the DV but am looking forward to the oppertunity. Kittycat27...very sexy..:-)

Question of the day - Lets talk about men lasting - What makes me last a long time? Soft Swap. Making out for hours isn't a problem. I never orgasm while playing uvula hockey. Grab-ass doesn't get me off either. Nothing makes me last longer than a good round of Utah County style dead end levi-lovin. Fuck, I bet I could last for 3 days as long as the energy drinks keep flowing. Line up ladies, I'm stamina man (soft swap style). You may not get off, and neither will I.... but we can tell our religious friends that we are swingers, and that's what it is all about, right?

Here's something Ive been curious about - -
You can't be a "real" swinger unless you're official. We answered an ad in the back of a Spiderman comic book, sent in a quiz and a drawing (boobs and a penis) and they told us we would be AWESOME swingers and to send them 19.95 plus P&H. Now we're card carrying swingers. If our certification ever expires we're just gonna be plain old wife swappers.
You were that kid who sent off for the "sea monkeys" huh? I always wanted a colony of sea monkeys.
