Curious Question - - Hi all, my hubby and I are going to be moving from DC to Reno, NV. very soon. From what Chris has told me is that there is not alot out there as far as "Big" cities that we are used too. SO... Gym Fantasy - anyone else get turned on while working out? - Any swingers go to the anytime fitness in bountiful? Would love to work out with some couples in the lifestyle
swinger ? or not. - - I am a widower. My late wife and I were swingers in the Seattle/Tacoma area for years. I remained a swinger when she died. A year ago I moved to be close to my grandkids and even though I would like to continue, the clubs out here don't want single men; even if they have 25 years experience in the lifestyle. Odd pattern. - Why the interest/disinterest? - I'm not surprised to see mentions of homophobia and haste in filling out the profile as possible reasons; I hadn't thought of the male ego being so driven as to ignore disinterest from gay women. Yet that ego can't be reasoned w/ when the interested person's equipment matches the imagined ideal but the original birth certificate does not, even when reproduction is not on the table.
As Terry pointed out above, every blastocyst starts out female and slightly less than half mutate into males as they become fetuses.
AHARLEYCPL, not only is hate mail unwarranted, I'm personally pleased this discussion, for all its potential thorns, hasn't disintegrated into discriminatory ugliness like it would on some sites where the membership is more mainstream; I think it's b/c swingers already think outside the societal norms when it comes to expressing sexuality and have more of a 'live and let live if no one gets hurt' mentality. Being a swinger isn't about thoughtless sex, it's about even more thoughtful sex and this discussion shows that. :)
Are you more or less tolerant? - - Now that you're a swinger do you think that you're more or less tolerant of people of a different body type than yours? We ran the Utah Undie Run yesterday (WAY fun, highly recommended btw) and today we were checking out the stories about it from the local news outlets and more than that the message/comment boards. Now we all know that there are a LOT of people in Utah who are/were very offended that some people would run around downtown on Conference Sunday in their underwear so we were expecting a lot of "sour grapes" type comments about it being disrespectful, etc.. What we weren't expecting quite so much were the MANY negative comments about how unattractive the participants were. Sure there were a few that could have hit the gym a little harder but we felt like the majority were actually quite fit and trim (and mostly quite a bit younger than we are-LOL). So it got us wondering if swingers are, in general, more or less tolerant of others who maybe aren't in spectacular shape. Or were you more tolerant before you became a swinger? We're not talking about people you'd necessarily like to fuck just about people in general. What say you?
