Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - We tried different ages. The young ones just don't have a clue, too immature and scared. I really relate to your comments and feel we are very similar. Maybe not to the point of dating others but we definitely want to have feelings for others as a couple and individually. The problem is that most of these open relationships seem to be very secretive which leads to distrust and hurt feelings which leads to more extreme behavior and we just donât want to get caught in the middle of it.
We share and communicate everything, half the fun is turning everyone on which cant happen when itâs all secretive. We just feel more and more pressure to be fully open and people care
About our boundaries less and less. Guys start actively messaging and trying to sext my wife without asking me if thatâs okay first. Women start getting extra demanding of my attention and then finding out their husbands know very little about whatâs going on. Single guys who simply canât be our friend as a couple and enjoy some occasional bull time with the wife without wanting more. Itâs just been really odd for us these past 2 years.

Early on, when looking into swinging, I visited another forum. A couple posted a picture of themselves with the caption, "We did it!" Their shirts were off and they were facing away from the camera. A few people posted that they didn't get it. The OP explained that they got upside down pineapples tattooed on their backs so other swingers would know they were in the lifestyle. No one knew what they were talking about. It was sad cause at first they joked that it was a well known sign, but person after person chimed in that they had never heard of it. Some people who had been in the lifestyle over ten years said they'd never heard of it.
After a while they stopped trying to convince people and then stopped responding.
It was pretty sad.
