Orlando on the 21st - - I don\'t mean to be negative or difficult, but the general \"lay of the land\" for swingers in Orlando - has been discussed here before - with the conclusion that aside from Tastebuds (which is wonderful, but meets each *Saturday* night - not on Friday when you\'ll be there) - there really isn\'t much in the way of \"public\" entertainment. You can enjoy Rachel\'s Steakhouse (near the airport) for some great steak and topless dancers, or your best chance is to see if you can hook up with a private party - or *make* a private party somewhere - because Orlando is desperately trying to keep the \"Family\" image - and clamps down hard on anything \"public\" for swingers - or even just good-old nudity in strip clubs and such.
It is ironic that Vegas has the same problem: in the city of Vegas - one cannot be *nude* in public shows. Particularly funny because when the Swingers and the Soccer kids clashed at the hotel near the airport recently, one person said \"Orlando isn\'t VEGAS, for goodness sake\" (meaning that MCO is supposed to be MUCH more wholesome - whatever that means).
Anyway, not in any way shooting at you - just kind of sad that a big, tourist city like Orlando - hasn\'t managed more \"action\". It may be there, but it\'s \"underground\".
Cruise - pricing - You guys are really bitching about paying $2000 for two people for a 7 day lifestyle takeover cruise? I heard Utah people were cheap but come on. Let's break that down per day... $285... per couple... per day... We've been many places that aren't nearly as nice as being on a cruise with 2100 swingers and paid a lot more than that for just hotel rooms. Throw in car rental and food and you're out even more.
So what if you're paying $600 more than what they charge for a regular cruise... you don't have to worry about children and you're around people you can actually have fun with. Sounds like the extra money is worth it to me. And have you ever been on ANY vacation when you fly? Add in airfare, liquor, tips and gratuities as well. You're not getting those things free on most other vacations anyways.
Did you go to SwingFest? The rooms there were $300 a night! So if you can't afford this cruise, don't knock the people who put it together, we've been waiting for something like this for a long time and they deserve to make a bit of money off this because I'm sure it wasn't easy.
And you're probably the ones who bitch about there never being any events or parties for lifestylers, then when someone puts one together, you bitch about it because they make a dollar for their efforts.
We'll be on the cruise and we'll be glad to see those who aren't cheap on there with us.
Vanilla Party pickups - Vanilla Party pickups - I doubt it, unless they are already in the lifestyle and attending as vanilla. I have known people that were not in the lifestyle do it with someone that they have known for a while but you would not consider and they do not consider themselves swingers. feedback - - I'm with RIPIN22 on this one. We came to this website to meet people who are as open minded as we are. We live by the phrase "To each his own" Not always do we agree to someones opinion or preferrence but we respect their freewill to have that opinion or preferrence. We are not "hard" swingers and can be at times particular who we'll jump into bed with, but at least we reserve the right to tell someone that they are just not for us. Isn't that what this lifestyle is all about in the first place. I realize not alot of couples are into single guys, but should they be punished for that? We have brought our longtime 'friend' to the meet and greets and have been thanked for introducing him and for the insight that he has brought to the group as a single guy. In return he was met by the "Jealous husbands club" and has since backed off from the sight because of poor feed back from the people who have yet to meet him. It's amazing what you can miss out on if your mouth opens before your eyes do. I thought that NO judgements is what this was all about.
