We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Again, the intent of this post wasn't to obsess over this one bad time. It was to express our feelings and frustration. The advice everyone has shared with us is very helpful. We just want to avoid this kind of situation in the future. Realistically we do realize that we will come across this sort of thing again but atleast now we will be better prepared to deal with it. We will do things differently next time. Hopefully any simiular couples reading this will also choose not to contact us and the ones that are on our level will.
Las Vegas Swingers club - - Just go. You have to fill out some paperwork for "membership" and get a tour - but it makes for a great introduction. If you're going on a Friday/Saturday you might want to get there by 9 or a little before.
Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - Single females are called Unicorns.....and single males are fluff (choc or vanilla in flavor)! Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well. Just my bit :)

Swingular Changing name to: - I think Swingular should change it's name to "Hateular" - We have seen some of the more negative posts. We have also made the mistake of stating our position on a subject and had some folks come down on us. It is nice to see that most of the folks on Swingular take exception to that behavior.
As for single guys ......... Right time, right place, from time to time ........ we enjoy the company of a polite single male. Unless they whine about being a single male on a swingers site designed primarily for couples.
It is simply a social expression of an economic law -- Supply and Demand. Within swinging the supply of single males far exceeds the demand. Thus their value within the world of swinging is greatly deminished.
It is not my intention to demean any single male as an individual. As individuals each has their own worth. It is just that we are in the "business" of swinging here and business is business.
