Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - We feel quite the opposite. We've been on swingular for 15 days now. We've been to 2 meet n greets, met two couples otherwise, and enjoyed a MMF experience for hubby`s birthday. We are hoping to meet another couple tomorrow. If they are using it in a derogatory sense it may be because they are experiencing a certain level of self loathing because they are struggling to accept their own sexual nature or they may have peers and family that would do their best to destroy them were they to live so free as you are. I think that the anger that leads to name calling and judgment sometimes is a secondary emotion that people choose to embrace because the primary emotion is much more painful. They may want what you have but lack the confidence or courage to go find it for themselves and so the same people that call someone a slut in the derogatory sense far too often are the same people that go off and struggle with their own sexuality in dark places through lying, cheating, abuse and even darker acts while swimming in a sea of self loathing.

Burnt out from searching - - Keep in mind that a lot of profiles on here are entirely fabricated, or inactive. You can't trust the "Last Visit" date on their profile because swingular puts inactive profiles online to give the feel of more activity than there really is. We know this because we have an old profile on here that we abandoned a long time ago and we don't even remember the password. We see it showing up on the "Members Online" page sometimes. I can assure you, that member is NOT online.
Anybody else notice that so many of of the new members, almost always from outside of Utah, have their profile pictures posted sideways. Bots can't see when that happens, they're just populating empty fields. There are three of them showing up in the new members list as we type this.
Swingular is a Utah centric site. We moved to South Carolina for a while and we sent out maybe 100 messages to members that "were online" at the time, and never got a single response. We never got a message from any of the "active" members on our area. Nobody ever accepted a single friend request. But there were plenty of active swingers showing up on the site. Weird.

what the f#%@ was he thinking? - swingers still deserve respect - That e-mail was totally out of line and I would like to say on my behalf as a single male, I would never conduct myself in such a manner. If I were expecting to be a guest, then that is what I would be. The agressors are truly insecure. Sometimes too I wonder if some 14 year old didn't get access to an account or something like that.
None the less I continue to witness such a sensitivity to single males almost to the degree that saying hello is out of line. I guess that looks like another agressor. I do not want to come across as a whiner but it really makes it difficult for those of us who are hoping to make a connection somewhere.
One more thing to the originator, HOTTYZX2; you are a great looking couple and there is no reason you shouldn't have the kind of fun you are looking for. Hang in there, take care of yourselves and counsel one another about how to deal with such nonsense as the e-mail you received.

If you have a certain kind of couple you are looking for and want to meet someone new every weekend, I'm guessing the well will run dry quickly.
We have very little time, so even meeting a few people here and there can be tough to schedule.
I see events, parties and booty calls listed all the time...add in the messages, friend requests (which are usually useless), and new people joining (whom you can choose to say hi to or not), and honestly, I'm not sure how anyone has time for it all to the point of saying the swing scene is dying. Guess we're just too new to remember the good old days. But as far as we can tell, there are a lot of nice, fun people to get to know...and simply not enough time to.
