Moving - - Justin- You might want to look deeper into what Utah is all about before you dive in. Just because you can see a few hundred swingers that appear to be cool, doesn't mean that the other 2.2 million Utahns are so accepting and fun. Living in Utah has some very good benefits (aside from the abundance of swingers)- these include the mountains, the desert, the skiing/snowboarding, hiking, biking, boating, camping, etc. pretty much whatever you want to do here, it is available. We have four distinct seasons, which are nice, if you like hotter than hell summers and super cold winters. The negative side to living in Utah is a little more hidden, and harder to explain. Simply put, if you don't fit in to the predominant culture (conservative, religious, Caucasian) you might not be happy here. Not that there aren't liberal, non-religious, non-white people here, but many locals look down on anyone who is 'different.' Also with one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country, and with less jobs available than most places, it might be difficult to find work in Utah. I hope I haven't pissed anyone off with my reply... Just trying to give Justin (and everyone else) a little bit of insight on what Utah is about Mr U

Orlando on the 21st - - I don\'t mean to be negative or difficult, but the general \"lay of the land\" for swingers in Orlando - has been discussed here before - with the conclusion that aside from Tastebuds (which is wonderful, but meets each *Saturday* night - not on Friday when you\'ll be there) - there really isn\'t much in the way of \"public\" entertainment. It is ironic that Vegas has the same problem: in the city of Vegas - one cannot be *nude* in public shows. Particularly funny because when the Swingers and the Soccer kids clashed at the hotel near the airport recently, one person said \"Orlando isn\'t VEGAS, for goodness sake\" (meaning that MCO is supposed to be MUCH more wholesome - whatever that means). Ft Myers, FL - HELP!!! - Craigslist is local down there. MAGNETIC is right, after being laid off after 7+ years at my old job due to the economy, it was very difficult to find a new FULL time job that paid anything more than $8 an hour. I just moved AWAY from Fort Myers in June due to the unemployment rate, it's a tourist spot. I hope you have a job lined up...it's tough down there however it is beautiful in areas and the beach is nice (just don't go during spring break LOL). Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - I don't think it is dying out, by any means. My opinion is a few things are happening. The Swingular community is actually growing...bigtime. Hence the increasing number of events being posted. And yes..most are paid events...for a couple of reasons..to actually pay for the cost of an event..and plain old capitolism. Welcome to America. No real problem. House parties...are alive and well. But...because of the increased number of folks here, things have changed from before. Now, if you post one here..you have a bunch of people respond..most likely too many...some must be told no....hard for most of us to do. Consequently..hosts have become a bit more selective.. and send personal invites..rather than general announcements. Basically...house parties have moved underground. And hosts have become more selective about just inviting particulair age groups, or body types. That leaves many of us out. I know our email box is empty most of the time, unless it is us hosting the party. Just my opinion of course..yours maybe different!
