Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? -
I was raised to believe that morality and the law are the same thing. People, in LDS society anyway, seem to profess that being moral is obeying the law and that is what they teach their children in church. I have always assumed that other religions do the same thing. But what seems to be said here is that swingers feel that the law has little or nothing to do with morality and that we are perfectly willing to break the law for our own pleasure. Is that what we are saying here.
Depends on what you are considering law. I think even in the LDS tradition there is an understand that God's law is higher than man's or governments law. A large part of the controversy of LDS polygamy comes because it was in disobedience to the law. Where church leaders believed that following their religious conviction was more important then what U.S. law said. But if you are taking some overarching moral law, like Kants categorical imperative then maybe. I think most swingers have the same ends in mind and no is being used as a means for an end. However that being said, I think most swingers seem to follow a more utilitarian guideline that pleasure is good and what promotes pleasure is good.

Game ON....which sign is Hornier...(is that a word?) - zodiac signs of swingers? - SLINKYDEW: in response to your email: i've actually looked at the WHOLE chart several times. i've combined the year, the day, time, month, etc. i've combined traditional astrology and chinese astrology and their year of the animal things with it as well. i think the whole thing is interesting and i've looked into all the backgrounds and details. i still don't believe my personality is based on it or that it's even a guideline for it. but i have looked it all up for fun and curiousity.

camping - - There are a few groups on the net for floirda camping swingers, but yes, I wish there were some. Ok well there is Riverboat, but that place give us the creepies.

Friend collectors or swingers - -
I do have a question regarding this as I'm sure I'd be labeled as a "friend collector" based on how many friend requests I send out. My question is, how can you tell who is active vs who is not? The way I've tried to determine this is by sending "blind" friend requests to people I find interesting, and if they accept it, I assume they're active, and I send them a message. Is there an easier way to determine who has at least been on here recently vs those who haven't been on here for a year or longer? I definitely don't want to seem like I'm just a friend collector, but I also don't want to waste hours typing specific messages for profiles when 93% of them haven't been on in years and will never respond, if that makes sense.
There are two versions of a friend collector in our opinion. Version one: You receive or make a friend request with a short introduction. The friend request is accepted and that’s the last you hear from that person. Version two: You receive a friend request that develops into a week or two of conversation, pictures exchanged. and multiple attempts to arrange a meeting are made and they still flack on you. Eventually you never hear from them again but they don’t delete your friendships on the website. In our opinion these are the true definitions of a friend collector.

Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger - Lol, Jeff has been wearing a black ring on his pinky finger of his right hand for almost 10 year's. We heard it was a swinger thing way before we were Swingers but he kept wearing it to mess with people at the time. Definitely not a new thing.

Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger -
We used to go to the occasional lifestyle takeover/trip and would invariably be issued a wristband upon arrival so that we could get into events at the hotel or resort. It usually took about half a day for word to leak out, first among hotel employees and then later the general public, that swingers were around the area and that they could be identified by their wristbands.
When swingers are densely populated in an area.. yes.. that's bound to happen.. However, a tiny fraction of the population are actually swingers.. so when you're talking about something "in the wild" (versus at a meet-up), this isn't likely to be a problem.
I guarantee if the black ring thing took off that very soon there would be multiple internet stories as well as likely regular news outlets that "swingers" wear black rings on their right hands and there goes any anonymity. The VAST majority of swingers would then not dare wear the accessory for fear of being seen/identified in public as a swinger.
I'd say we're years (decades?) away from that ever becoming a problem. Black rings would need to be EVERYWHERE before the general populace catches on to it... and then you just move on to something else.
MUCH easier to just attend private swinging events where you have a reasonable assurance that all or most in attendance are indeed swingers rather than spend a lot of time cruising the bars or whatever looking for people wearing black rings. [em]Emo_67[/em]
I'm not sure which part of the black-ring suggestion takes "spending a lot of time"... Attending meetups is DEFINITELY the preferred way to find swingers (well, and web-sites, like this one)... But talking to people who've actually seen the black-ring in the wild and MET swingers in open, public, spaces... there's a certain excitement that comes from that. Maybe I'll just wear my "I swingers" t-shirt, instead. ;)
