All I was saying is that a few bad experiences can make people NEVER want to try something.
Also, there is the issue that if they are not really interested in it from square one, and there are a few bad experiences, the question people like that ask is "Why am I bothering?" Take our case for instance. We don't really desire for single males or females. Those we have played with in the past have come with baggage. So, why would we be interested in venturing into that territory? Baggage + lack of interest makes it a hard sell should some single male or female come looking.
La2016 - Need advice - I agree with what lookin4fun369 says, but you also need to be prepared to be approached by couples if you venture out into the event space.
What you're looking for based on your profile is the same thing that the majority of swingers are also keeping an eye out for... The elusive unicorn. Yes these magical creatures do exist, but they are difficult to corral. There are many that can be found behind the lcd of your computer screen, but to actually entice one into a dinner date, followed up with play time can be seemingly impossible at times! In fact... Are we really as judgmental as vanilla people? - - Yes, unfortunately some swingers are as judgemental or even worse than our vanilla counterparts. After taking a break for some time, Jen and I decided to get back in the swing of things. We have recently moved from California to Ohio due to me (Mike) being in the military. Strangely enough, we have found more judgemental people out here than were in CA. At a party that we were at, one of the guests actually came up to Jen and said some mean things about her because of her weight. We ended up leaving early anyway, due to bad weather and a drive home. This discussion came up in another forum of a website that we also belong to as well. Just because we're swingers doesn't mean you have to play with somebody you don't find attractive, but you can at least be nice to that person.
