Mexico! Come with us!!! :) - Trying to put together a group of Swingers to go to Mexico with us! - I'm sure anyone on our friends list got the previous email about our trip to Mexico and wanting to put a trip together in the spring. If you didn't, well that's the gist of it! Our availability would be between May 9th-17th. Probably thinking 4-5 nights (we have a little one at home so that makes it hard for us to leave for too long) but I'm sure any of you that wanted to could stay longer/shorter could do that. We would probably plan one big group excursion (we did sailboating, snorkling, parasailing and shopping all in one excursion for one day for only $135 total for both of us combined and that wasn't even a group rate) to do one of the days and maybe the bar hopping one night? Other than that there are tons of other excursions to do, or lets face it laying around in the pool with the swim up bar sounds pretty amazing too! Swinging and LDS... - Are the two compatible? I know this is a huge can of worms... - We were talking to someone we thought was a "vanilla" friend last night. She has told us in the past how she is a total LDS member and "very religious", yet we just found out that she is and has been in the lifestyle for quite a while. We are a bit perplexed. While we are not LDS, we assume the church would frown on the lifestyle. Is this not the case? Or are LDS'rs living a "double life"? We all do to a certain extent, we don't advertise that we are swingers. But, to you who are active LDS members, how hard is to maintain while attending church? To those who are not and have dated LDS members, is it difficult to have poly relationships with members? What are some of the obstacles? We do like her very much.

Seriously, we live with only one ethical standard: Do not harm others unnecessarily. Simple and to the point.
As to the difference between morals and ethics; I have always believed that morals are those things society pushes on you, be it your church, the law, family, ect, while ethics are those things you take for yourself and make a part of your own beliefs and actions.
Do I view myself as moral? Not really. I have consciously chosen to ignore those things which society has attempted to push on me in favor of what I believe to be right and wrong. I obey laws I don't agree with not because I believe those laws to be moral, or myself to be moral, but because I do not wish the repercussions of breaking those laws. That and I live in serious red-neck country and our prostitutes are just downright scary .
