Log in Issue - I am not a robot - Yeah, if I didn't think it was ALL about Swingular trying to block any apps that they don't own I wouldn't worry about it that much (or whine apparently). But it's laughable that anyone would seriously think they're doing it to protect security on the site...at least as far as preventing hordes of unscrupulous spammers and/or Russian identity thieves from taking advantage of swingers. It wasn't all that long ago that you could Google your screen name and get directly into the site.
But as long as I'm whining I'd LOVE it if Swingular would, like most other MODERN internet sites, block people from sending identical spammed e-mails to multiple members. It's not that hard to do. I know that might harsh the buzz of a few single dudes who are just too darned busy to personalize an e-mail to a specific couple and find the shotgun approach a far simpler way to get their brand out there (or at least shoot for a sexual ROI of 1% or so). At very least it would be cool if Swingular would (like a paid fitness site I'm on) have a little counter at the bottom of the page that tells me how many other members received an identical e-mail from the same person writing me. The feeling we've gotten from chatting privately with people here is that a good percentage of swingers in Utah are indeed LDS, whether active or inactive. Appears too a good number are former LDS members cutting loose. With no judgement or disrespect to the LDS reading this, I find it fascinating.

People in general are half-baked critters. The hookup scene tends to silently give desperation a pass, which brings out some odd folk.

It's not extremely common, but it happens, and ties into the the desperation remark above. Especially once you're in the mix with people in their late 30's. Shit's no fun at all.

This isn't my first rodeo. I did the majority of screening when rolling as a couple for several years. There are "off" people in the scene, but word spread fast. Whether they are unstable as a couple, or unstable as a person, they tend to burn out and fade out pretty quickly in my experience.
Sexual incompatibility happens, sure, but the odds are good it won't be a first encounter. Friends first (chat friends at the very least) is how I like things.

Please refer to the above. :) It's not necessarily a matter of being more trustworthy. There are plenty of scummy, dishonest, and dangerous swingers. However, the traditionally encouraged rules and boundaries that (what I'm assuming is) the majority of the community acknowledges tend to oust em pretty quickly.
Does this happen to any other women? - General Discussion - This is sort of a venting as well as a general question. A bit personal, I know...however judging by other forums, I think it will be acceptable. I just want to know how other swingers perceive it and/or deal with it.
For some strange reason it seems that whenever we make plans to go out to a swinger's club for a special party, or a really good swinger's house party...Aunt Flo shows up uninvited. I have had her show up FIVE days early and/or three or four days late just to ruin a potential good time. I don't know if it's because I'm worried about her coming subconsciously or it's just bad luck but it's quite frustrating :( Please tell me that others out there have this same experience as often as I do and that I'm not alone.
Now I don't know about others in the lifestyle, but I have had many discussions with male friends and boyfriends in my life who won't come near a woman on their dot, they are repulsed by it. This way of thinking passed on to me so I wouldn't even consider trying to initiate anything sexual until Auntie packed her bags and left for the remainder of the month. I find myself very lucky to be with a man who doesn't mind it because it's "natural for a woman" and he has taught me to become quite comfortable with sexy time with him while Auntie is visiting. This is great because I tend to get quite aroused when Auntie is visiting.
We were discussing it the other day and he mentioned that there are bound to be other swingers out there that don't mind playing with a woman on her dot. I wonder how true that is so I figured I would put it out there for everyone else to respond.
