An out of this world (or state) encounter - swinging parties - The problem we have noticed in Utah is that there
seems to be far more wanna be swingers than actual
swingers. There are quite a few who think if the
girls kiss or show their titties then they have had
a great swinging evening. To us it is a lifestyle not
a fad & the cool in thing to pretend to do. We almost
always avoid house parties & private parties for this
reason. In fact we almost prefer finding new couples
& singles in a regular club & converting them over
to swinging over meeting playmates here because
it's easier & usually less drama. Not to mention it helps
weed out the wanna be's & the ones who used a 20 year
old photo that was taken when they still had teeth or before
they put on that extra 125 lbs.

I am not a believer in the INSTITUTION of Christianity as a whole, I do not beleive that ANYBODY who has taken the time to educate themselves about the origins of Christianity (particularly the Roman Catholic Church) and organized religeon (sp?) could be a true believer, however that in no way means that I do not believe in GOD.

Are we really as judgmental as vanilla people? - - Swingers are very judgemental, maybe more so than the general population. It's not just over weight people that are judged by people in the lifestyle. Single men are discriminated against daily...just because they are male. We seem to be good at grouping like people together be it sex, weight, race. People in the lifestyle sure don't hold back when it comes to discrimination.
What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - We are not sure why Utah has more fun cpls who do not hide the fact they are into the lifestyle. Here in NC there are some great cpls too, but mabey we are just shy.
So we may have to head out west for our next vacation too.
Can bieng Mormon (LDS) and a Swinger co-exist? - - If Catholics can have pedophile priests, Muslims have sexist wife beating terrorists and Baptists racist incestious siblings, then The LDS Church can have swingers. Why not; everyone outside the LDS Church is misled about the mormons all being polygamists anyway. I don't think others' perceptions will change much if you lead a double-life. Ultimately, it only matters what you think and feel to be good for you. If you live life for others, then you will not have lived at all. Absorb your environment and mold yourself in a manner that is consistent with your belief system, morals and happiness. You know your own heart and what's right for you.
We believe as long as all human parties are of consenting age and have given consent, nothing is wrong for you sexually. We'll do what the hell we want with our bodies. As I (Don) am not religious in anyway, I don't want to have anything to do with organized religion and all their hypocrisies. This is our stance. Take it for what you will.
