It defeats one of the biggest attractions of Lava, which is once you park your car for the weekend it doesn't move until you go home. I can think of few things less fun than driving 35 minutes on mountain roads after a couple of drinks at the Blue Moon or visiting Lava and being tagged the designated driver. Everyone that parties goes to the Blue Moon as that is where the fun is at in the evening. For those who have never done Lava the main attractions in the summer are tubing the river and the Blue Moon, while the main attractions in the winter are the hot springs and the Blue Moon. There are other things to do and you can mix and match, but we've found that is how our time breaks out when we're not fucking. We visit Lava 5 or 6 times a year, of those maybe two are for LS Events, two for romantic getaways and two for friends and family. Lava is known as a local Idaho and Utah swingers destination and there are many there every weekend. The problem is you need to have your meet ups scheduled before arriving as it's almost impossible to sort the LS from the vanilla on site. Risqué Soiree held an event in Lava last spring that was very fun and well attended, we hope they do it again this year. It was a great event for those new to the LS or anyone wanting to meet friends. Also because it involved both Idaho and Utah there was a lot more interaction than many meet ups where people have a tendency to group up with those they already know. Lava is one of those places you will either fall in love with and visit often, or visit once to say you have been there and done that and never return. But one thing I can promise, and that is if your room is in Pocatello you'll never understand the nuances that make Lava so charming to many. If you want big fancy hotels and everything about your visit orchestrated you would be much better advised to spend your vacation in Vegas as you will not be happy in Lava. Anyhoo... that's our two cents, your mileage may vary.

We were both married to other people...the swinging part did not work out for various reasons, but we decided to be friends anyway...we stayed that way for a couple of years. Just friends. Not much later we began to get to know one another much better. We fell in love despite our best intentions to remain true to our mates. We didnt cheat. We didnt lie, or sneak around on them. We just told them the truth. After a short time, we realized that the only real issue in our lives was that we were not together each day. We were making our ex's miserable, so it was time to change our lives to be together. On July 18, 2001 we moved in together. Together we are stronger than apart. Together we have moved mountains and parted seas. We have been through hell and back for each other, and I know that if I were to go again, she would be there with me all over again. Our ex's have both moved on, and even dated for a short time. They are both remarried (to different people), and very very happy. We are great friends with both of them, and see them frequently as we have children with them. Once a week we all have dinner together, drink a few beers, and talk about our kids. Swingers at work... - - Thanks STRAIGHTUPNOW, but honestly I thought I handled it VERY DISCRETLY, it was a simple small card nothing more, between himself and I. As for the rest I was half way across the country as I stated in the post. So I didn't feel I was in the wrong by approaching him. Friend collectors or swingers - - We love to meet new people! That said though......the way we tend to meet them is either at a Meet and Greet or at a house party. If they happen to send us a friend request, and it is someone we think we would like to get to know, we invite them to one of our own frequent house parties. Unfortunately, neither of those avenues are happening right now for us. We have accepted a number of friend requests this year with hopes of inviting them to a small house party soon.....but not until we feel pretty confident it is safe for all involved. A fact I know some want to ignore, but we have personally known two friends in the lifestyle that didn't survive the virus. We don't want to know anymore. So we wait a bit longer.
