Ways to point out Swingers in public - - The problem with the whole black ring thing is twofold. First, many people wear them now who aren't even close to being swingers. We see the silicone versions at the gym fairly often because you can lift with them without hurting your finger and I have at least half a dozen vanilla friends who wear black wedding bands (albeit on their left hands). Second, if black rings for swingers (or ANY other surefire way to ID other swingers) ever really caught on it would quickly become common knowledge and most swingers would prefer their little hobby stay discreet and not public knowledge to their friends, family, and coworkers. We were once at a lifestyle hotel takeover in San Diego and they issued wristbands to the guests. It took approximately two hours for the entire hotel staff to figure out what the wristbands meant (they were color-coded for sexual preference) and by the next morning you could walk to the adjacent mall and restaurants and people would look at you then immediately look down at your wrist and smile or even laugh and stare. People started trying to hide their wristbands and a few even removed them because they didn't enjoy the attention. And all this was before social media became a thing. How long do you think it would take nowadays for black rings, or whatever, to become common knowledge? Don't get me wrong. I would LOVE a foolproof way to know who else is a swinger as I walk down the street but swinging is still looked down upon by most other people in the world and most swingers still don't want their private sex lives exposed to the world.

Swingers gone bad?? - -

LADY,

I agree. That is why I think morality has nothing to do with it. The law is in place to protect innocence from predatory assholes that take advantage of naivety of youth. Many young boys don't consider fatherhood, disease and other complications that can arise from sexual relations. Hell a lot of adults don't either.
I am not religious at all. I think adultry is a morality based law. I think Fornication is a morality based law. They stem from the church. Laws to protect children are that of humanity. No one should have to be victimized by a fuckin pervert that can use their adult influence to overpower a child, whether is mental or physical or both. Whether it's a young boy's libido or a young girl's insecurity or low self esteem... IT'S WRONG!

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - I hope they do a follow up piece showing how gay marriage opened the door for evil stuff like swinging. Thanks, Obama!

looking for a girl...Right Now! - - Kind of typical of your single male, they are a dime a dozen. The real swingers among them are as rare as a precious gem.

Friend collectors or swingers - -
We are more hobbyists or friend collectors than DTF type. Count us as guilty.
Us too! We love friends! The more the merrier . . . IF we play . . . That is a bonus. As to collecting friends in our friends list . . . Not so much. Though we have certainly accepted friend requests from people we have yet to meet, we ONLY accept friend requests from people we would LIKE to meet . . . And . . . We frequently clean out our friends list when it becomes clear we will never meet. If the practice of looking for people in the LS to meet and be friends with is a bad thing . . . Color us guilty! We have no plans on changing that.

Virtual "Cheap Thrill Seekers" - -
What I think EVILDOERS is trying to say Islander2 is, there is no place to store such a list other than on your own computer or in one of them rolly things the dinosaurs used to keep track of their appointments, or to recall those snooty Triceratops who would just never show up. I can only assume that Swingular prefers users of the site to not punish other users for committing the crime of no show. But there is hope. They say if you contact enough people and make enough dinner appointments, you might get someone to appear in person. That's what I'm shooting for, at least.
OMG, you read my mind! Yes, sadly there are flakes in every walk of life and the fun part is trying to decide who is and isn't a flake. Unfortunately, once swinging went digital, the cost to play went WAY down. I'm not talking about the monthly fee you pay to Swingular. I'm talking about the ease with which someone can hide behind their 'puter and pretend to be something they are not. Back in the day (grab your Rolodexes kiddies), to meet other swingers you usually had to buy a swinger magazine with ads in it, rent a P.O. box, take some naughty Polaroids and send off a bunch of snail mail. It was WAY too much work for someone who just gets their jollies punking people. Sure there were still flakes, but the amount of effort people had to put in just to CONNECT with other couples made flakes far less ubiquitous. I mean for all you know now, the people who didn't show up for drinks at Applebees wasn't a hot, sexy couple but, in reality, a 600-pound transvestite defrocked pedophile priest with a ferret fetish. You probably totally dodged a bullet when he didn't have the guts to show up! [em]Emo_84[/em]

Black Rings - Do Swingers really? - We both have black rings on our right ring fingers. They have each others nicknames on them.

Amusing - Fakes.. ugh.. DESPISE THEM! - Maybe it is a testament to how much time I spend on these sites but I find this kind of thing frequently. Often a couple on one site is a single guy on another. Sometimes even on the same site under a different account. Want to know why this happens? Look at the following: Posted By: ADMINISTRATOR Reply posted on: Apr 27, 2006 - 5:38 pm I don't understand how they think they can get away with it. They don't think at least ONE person is going to recognize the pictures? Come on now!!! We're taking care of this immediately. In this case, the admin replied they would address this "immediately" yet a week later the account is still active with the same pics. Without real action on the admin's part, there is little to dissuade these clowns. Add to this those idiots who post as a couple but turn out to be either cheating marrieds or just single losers. We have traveled as much as 1500 miles each way to meet a couple and discovered there was either no wife at all or one who was unaware of the husband's activities. There is also my favorite, married guys posting as a couple and then leaving all the wife's info blank. It seems there is just about no way for honest swingers to find someone to have a good time with. The web is just full of posers and liars who apparently cannot get a date or make a buck without posting a fake profile on a lifestyle site. Remember to always be careful out there. It really is a jungle and there are plenty of nuts in those trees! Intimateduo
