Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - We don't argue that many couples enjoy MMF and FFM get togethers. We like it to!
What were saying is to call yourself a swinger and be single really doesn't fit the description of being in the lifestyle.
Now that you're one of them there fancy swingers... - - I play as a single male (although sometimes I bring a vanilla swirl along to an event or something) but I've always had good experiences with people I meet up with. I have also had nothing but good experiences at parties, so I guess I'm pretty lucky that way. For me, the lifestyle hasn't exactly turned me into a sex snob or anything like that, but I have gotten used to the open attitudes. It has become much harder (and not in the good way) to play with vanilla females who don't have those same attitudes. Not in the sense of I'm coming on too strong or pushing boundaries harder, but just that "normal" attitudes towards sex and sexual exploration in the LS are different than those in the single scene.

Bitchfest here...... - - Having been in this lifestyle for quite some time, I've seen more than my share of drama. I think the most common misconception is that everyone is on the same mindset.
This is not the case for most. You would think that going to a meet and greet set up on a Swinger's site would be a license to "Act" like swingers to anyone you recognize from the site in a public setting. However, I've learned quickly that because everyone responds differently, it is best to assume nothing and take nothing for granted and put on your thickest skin and expect drama. If nothing happens, and you make a connection with some one or both, then build from there and have fun. I have more fun when I go with no expectations and have them wildly exceeded, than to go full on and have the evening ruined through taking drama filled responses personal.
However, I don't think that because some people may have jealousies, that they have the right to treat people rudely. I think there are many who can work on this a bit more and realize that we are all in this to have some fun.

Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - We feel quite the opposite. We've been on swingular for 15 days now. We've been to 2 meet n greets, met two couples otherwise, and enjoyed a MMF experience for hubby`s birthday. We are hoping to meet another couple tomorrow. Cost is $35 per couple, $25 for single female and $45 for a single male. That price gets you a membership, entrance, free food at the bar, a room to play in and the ability to stay all night if needed. The Club has a dance floor, a bar, pool tables, a large playroom with leather sofas and a big screen TV, 16 rooms for play, a shower to clean up in or play in, a steam sauna, and a smoking area. Also there is a private entrance, lock boxes and lockers for personal items.
