Dating other Couples - Have you done it? - Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. We know plenty of people who've done it, and done it successfully (up to a point), ourselves included. We don't know of many, if any, where it has lasted for more than a few years and didn't end somewhat badly.

Quite often each couple has their own "agenda" (for lack of a better term) that is often at odds with the other couple's agenda. We've seen it frequently cause weird jealousies not only between primary partners but also between non-primary partners and in a few extreme notable cases it has ended marriages.
In our case, we were relatively long-term swingers at that point who, although never really super active in the scene, felt like we'd checked off most of the things on our swinging bucket list and were somewhat curious if there was more out there to explore in swingerdom...or if we were sort of done with the scene.
The couple we started "dating" wasn't really the kind of couple we usually were attracted to and maybe that was part of the allure. They also had a very interesting (to say the least) dynamic in their marriage that really was at odds with that in our relationship. Ultimately they kept pushing boundaries (started throwing the "L" word around and much more), pushed for more and more separate activities and were insidious in slowly and subtly causing rifts, both large and small, as well as a LOT of drama. We actually didn't even realize how much drama and subterfuge had occurred until we were finally out of the situation entirely.
We actually miss them a little, at times, and often wonder if there might have been a way to talk things out and come to a better understanding of how to continue on in a healthier way but they've actually gone on to do exactly the same thing to a number of other couples we know (it's a small world in Utah swinging and word gets around) and it seems to be their pattern.
Tldr; It can work. It's quite rare when it works long term. It has the potential for disaster. While it's appealing in many ways we don't really recommend it. YMMV

Wishbones - - We were invited to a meet and greet awhile back and hung around the lounge for several hours waiting for the couple who invited us. We found out later that most of the couples at the club were swingers, but as it was not a swinger's club, we were hesitant to approach perfect strangers and ask if they were swingers. Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - i would love to thank all who support thier military members! as a sailor in the united states navy and have been for 18 years i wouldn't trade anything for the things i have done during my naval career! not only does the military protect our country wew also do other things that people don't see or hear. we have gone to all parts of the world and we help the people of that country. i hvae been to very poor countries and we go there with supplies and we help re build thier cities. i have been on many humanitarian operations. i would also like to say a prayer for all our military members who are ofer seas and for all of those military members who have fallen for our country. and i'm glad to hear that they are sending up a bill to stop protesters at military funerals. i really can't believe that there are people out there who are happy about fallen soldiers. just remember everyone in our military are people who have joined by their own choice to defend our great country not like other countries where it is mandatory to serve in the military. i work at navy basic training (bootcamp) and i see these 18 year old's who have decided to join and do something for thier country. i know alot of you do not support the war but i'm not asking you to support the war but to support the men and women of our military!! well i guess that is all. i hope you all have a great memorial day weekend!!
Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - We tried different ages. The young ones just don't have a clue, too immature and scared. A lot of the older ones have erection difficulties. People do tend to pick those near their own age. The biggest factor is how picky the women are, including my own wife. As a couple we have been turned down a lot because my hair is grey and thinning causing me to look older. My wife doesn't like large over weight guys or guys with short cocks, or those who shave their heads. I don't think its age that is a factor so much as overall looks.
