Not as frequently as you might think. You probably see it on swingers that have been active for awhile. You see a couple with black rings on the right hand and they probably have some good stories to tell.
This lifestyle - What are we really? - I guess we are Poly-Swingers. Basically we are and have been swingers for some time now, I however, am quite poly and have several lady friends who I love deeply. Finding 2 couples is not as difficult as some might think. One of my lady friends is married and our families are quite close. Fact is they are not swingers at all but she is poly and he is poly friendly. The other is separated and both my wife and I love this lady to the ends of the earth. So we are poly.
Now, we are also swingers . We do have sex with people that we are not in love with. We do, however, care about people and we prefer to get to know people first before sex. 'Neighbors with Benefits' to air on A&E - Excited to watch? - Looking at the preview, I have a problem with the show before even seeing it. It looks like the people on it are all going to be 20 or 30 something, and pretty darned physically attractive. Great TV marketing strategy, I suppose. Get people to tune in to see great looking people who engage in "forbidden" sex. Titillate the viewing populace. But NOT anything even close to a representation of the people in the lifestyle. Sure there are people as young as in their twenties in it. I was in bed with one a few weeks ago (yes, miracles do happen, folks. Even with old codgers like me [em]Emo_100[/em] ). But not only is the lifestyle not made up entirely of really hot looking people in their 20s and 30s, they aren't even a really large chunk of it. The largest single age group, based on what I've seen at events and parties, as well as on the site, are in their 40s. And far from all being fit, slim, and very sexy in a traditional sense, they are mostly average. In other words, the majority of us are normal people. And until the society as a whole starts seeing swingers as just normal folks, swinging isn't ever going to be well accepted. I also have a suspicion that the show is going to present swinging as a bunch of people getting together then all pairing off randomly with whoever. In other words, the view of swinging that vanilla society already seems to have. I really doubt that this show is going to do anything good for the lifestyle, mainly because I expect it to present a warped view of the reality of swinging. ~ Terry.
Lifestyle vacations - Best place for a lifestyle vacation? - We just went on our first lifestyle vacation to hedonism 2 in Jamaica. We went with a group called young swingers week (OP just meets the criteria) and it was amazing. The resort itself is fantastic, the staff is friendly, the entertainers are very good, and there's always plenty to do even if you decide not to interact with others. And, of course, there's always the other guests.
Contrary to the previous post, only half the resort requires nudity; the other half is clothing optional and the dining areas and front desk require some covering. If you're going in March I'd definitely suggest going swingers week if there's still spots available. They buy out the whole resort (minus a couple legacy rooms) and get to add an extra layer of events for the group. The hosts are amazing. Basically, there's a reason they get something like a 70 or 80% return rate year after year.
