In WI, lived there for a while, it was called pop or soda, unless a VERY specific thing was needed, a Mountain Dew for instance. In the south, it is a Coke no matter what it is. So I am very aware of social science standards and SOME believe that we're predictable. If you have a smaller sample, we are fairly predictable, especially when the sample is taken from a specific group of people (swingers for instance, better yet, swingers in a specific region), once you get to the larger populations (nationwide for instance), human behavior is not easily quantified. Food, shelter, clothing, TV, etc? Really tough there. Look at prisons in Mexico, if your family does not provide, you starve, more than likely. THAT is consequences, it is a deterrant (sp?). IMHO, one of the reasons for our increased crime rates is the lack of public punishment. If every time you turned around, you saw a group of people in black and white stripes mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. on the side of the road in leg chains, it would cut crime considerably. If they did public executions, it would cut crime dramatically. Then again, I am a staunch supporter of heavy penalties for crimes, especially when they are repeat offenders, most of the social scientists are not. They want more rehab and such, which I also support, BUT only for first timers, not for repeat offenders. Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoying our debate... Next!

Due to the heightened possibility of "social engineering" (AKA LDS). As for doing it alone w/doors closed and no one watching in a club - we can understand that "thrill" level. I think the most important thing is that they dont lead people on to thinking there's going to be more before doing that. THAT would be rude, self centered and dis-respectful. I think this is the fine line where people get a little "ruffled" at the many levels of "comfort" in this lifestyle - its tough to get all turned on and revved up then shut out (usually what guys are used to getting from women - lol)...

Friend collectors or swingers - - We have a great core group of friends in the SLC area that we love to spend time with when we visit the area. In addition, we have a few more on our friends list that we would eventually like to meet. Actually, we have more pending friend requests (people who didn't send an accompanying email) than profiles on our friends list. Swinging and the Mormon Church - - We know and have known many active Mormon swingers over the years and I think they pretty much have a personal "don't ask don't tell" policy. And, of course, they lie...to their Bish or whoever when asked if they're chaste and stuff. I'm fairly certain most religions pretty much frown on wife swapping and most other forms of sexual relations with someone other than your God approved spouse. So I think the bottom line for most people who espouse a religion would be denial or simply willful disregard of THAT particular religious doctrine. However, as FORMER Mormons (well raised that way, anyway) we do know that there is sort of a loophole that many may not be aware of so you can basically fuck other peeps (and do other naughty shit...short of murder) and still go to heaven...eventually. Check out D&C 132:26. Now the way I interpret that "scripture" I'm pretty much covered (even though I'm an atheist) and will still get to go to heaven and stuff if on the VERY slim chance I'm wrong and it isn't all bullshit. ;-)
