Profiles? - - I think for most of us that live outside of the greater Salt Lake area its about location. We live in Southern Utah, which is a swingers wasteland.
Do people even read profiles? I think they just look at pics and if they like what they see they may read part of your profile, but not really pay attention to it.

Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - Ummm 75 couples times 2 = 150 people and while thats not alot for a hotel party it still falls within the accurate statement of aproximately 200
I was there so this is how I saw the situatiuon;
now I am not saying that the cuprits of this incident were the swingers attending the party but come on, your hosts should have made sure that no part of your party was visible to outside guests and some better discression could have been used by SOME of the party goers. Yes there was some flashing and gyrating here and there. And while I love a good party I am also a dad and wouldnt want my kids seeing that stuff either. Do any of you realize that if even one arrest was made swingers everywhere would look bad?. On the other hand the parents should have exercised better control over the children in their charge and the hotel should have either a refused the party or not booked the soccor team (the situation there to me was like having booked a klan rally and a black panthers reunion. not a good idea).
PS according to a reporter friend of mine WKMG has procured from the hotel a copy of the security tapes of the events that went on in the ballroom and around the hotel that night with the possiblity of doing a story on the night as part of an expose (i know its allready been done to death) on swinging in central florida.

How close is too close - - If you have problems in your marriage, swinging is not going to fix them. I think the excitment of swinging will, perhaps, camoflage them for a short time. But in the long run if there are problems the level of trust that is required to swing -- just will not be there.
But I wonder how our statistics compare to the general public? Are swinging couples getting divorced at a higher or lower rate? Comparing our swinging friends with our vanilla friends, the swingers seem far more happy with and into their mate.

Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - Then how would you define the men and women that are involved in the lifestyle that are married but thier signifigant others do not play? They are married,do you concider them "single" then?My wife got my into the Lifestyle about 8 years ago and then she passed away 4 years ago,does that mean now that i am "single" that i shouldnt be in the Lifestyle? I am looking for a partner in the lifestyle and its not easy.I think that people who think "singles" shouldnt be in the Lifestyle really dont know what the Lifestyle is or what it represents.Sure,sex is a HUGE part of it but its not ALL of it.To me the Lifestyle represents the idea of people being themselves without being judged or riticuled for what the like or believe.Its about Adults being Adults doing Adult things with other likeminded Adults.Sex is the by-product of likeminded Adults getting together and having that certain "Spark",chemistry if you will,with the people they are around.To me,thats what the Lifestyle is about.If i am single,does that mean that i should give up those ideas and beliefs? You really coulda stopped typing right THERE. They DO try making mountains and in this case they REALLY succeeded.
Would someone pulll--eeeezzze explain the point of fact away that if the phrase he used was SO horrible, SO despicable, SO outlandish, SO hurtfully-meant, SO otherworldly, Why OH WHY is it that it has been regurgitated to us 4,852,956,811 times in other media outlets....If he had come out and said the word "nigger" (derived originally from the Latin negro, which describes the COLOR black...not the human being....) noone in their right MIND would have republished it, but the "phrase that pays" in this case has actually become the punchline already. We all need to have the conversation that rages now as a result of this incident but not for the SAKE of the incident, rather for the sake of understanding. We also need to realize that we should not be quite this hypersensitive over words... and that is all this boils down to...language.
