Meeting new swingers? - Where to meet them? - We would agree that the net is a good place to look. We live in a small town and were surprised to find out how many people were into the lifestyle here. We have talked to three couples so far, and never expected there to be any results at the outset of our little search.
Question - do you talk about other swingers? - Never mention names! One thing we've found over the years is that people who swing, particularly those who belong to clubs, have too much to say about other people. I don't want to hear about it.. The people who are typically being trashed may be friends and we may have had different experiences with them. Best thing is simply the illustrated comments about what your version of swinging is. Descretion means or should mean what happens with others stays there and is not discussed. People may mesh differently with others and your experience or theirs is irrelevant. So MUM's the word.

Let's see, you just said that people confess to their bisbop. How is that any different from what I said? I remember being in college and the bisbop called me in, supposedly a girl I had messed around with concessed to her bishop, that bisbop made her tell him my name, and he turned around and told my bisbop. So that confess and tell name part is somewhat true/sarcasm...the rest is pure sarcasm that me and my other mormon friends would just laugh at... We've had multiple occasions where people in the wild have introduced themselves to us as a result of the rings. Mostly when we were traveling (outside of Utah). It's really not a big thing in Utah, yet... but outside of the state it's catching on relatively quickly.

... Also worth noting... it's mostly catching on among the younger, "under 50s" crowd. The old-timers seem content to poo-poo any idea, concept, or trend that doesn't fit their definition of 'swinging'. (Including at least one person on here who spends, literally, every waking minute of his day trolling the forums making negative / sarcastic comments to anyone and everyone).
If you don't like the trend, don't do it... but there's no reason to pretend it's not real.
ALSO... Black Ring Society is going to be changing its name to SwingRing (mobile app name is changing as well... I'll start a separate thread on that). We think it's a more inclusive, shorter, and less confusing name..
