The problem here is you are in Utah. Think of how many gorgeous but divorced women are here, 30-40’s, lived a suppressed marriage for years and now want to have fun, but still have the “can’t be single” mindset. Your mistake was that you assumed that everyone was at the same level as you. That's not a stab, but an observation. For Sure I agree BAD. We had one that over just a couple weeks wanted the hubby to take her as a second wife.
