How would you respond - - Yeah we've come across those cheating singles as well. Either married or have a g/f whom doesn't know. Last SOB story was she had a medical condition and couldn't have sex anymore, however it was ok for him to play as LONG as she wasn't aware of whom it was with. Also, I think that some of us have returned to the cheating vs swingnig morality issue that we agreed earlier was NOT the intended direction this thread was going in. The issue IS a moral one, as someone pointed out. However it isnt whether or not CHEATING is the same as SWINGING.
Since the thread has been joined by so many other now (AND I THANK YOU GUYS FOR STEPPING UP AND SHARING!) several differing points of view have emerged.
Some \"vanilla\" or traditional people attempt to convince their mates to swing (MALE OR FEMALE) and for whatever eason that partner says NO. That person can not accept this answer for whatever reason, and decides it is worth risking everything they hold dear to swing.
We have explored that.
On the other hand, other \"vanilla\" people HAVE NEVER, AND WOULD NEVER EVEN ATTEMPT TO BROACH THE SUBJECT TO THEIR MATES. For fear of hearing NO, for fear of divorce...whatever...These same people, as one of our single gentleman pointed out...would look down upon us and label us sinners for being \"SWINGERS\" and all that they quite incorrectly feel that entails, and then in the same breath, go out and CHEAT on their mates. (I know one where she cheated on her husband with the pasteur of their church!)
Cheating is actually more accpetable than swinging to a LOT of \"vanilla\" people. To share their mate, agree on the format, and practice an open dialogue about it is unthinkable.

This was never meant to single out you single guys out there, and I am not going to defend this post, or our stand on it. If you have read our profile, you should understand that we date single men and women almost exclusively! We just prefer to know the TRUTH about your situation, and beleive it or not, in this lifestyle...that is a tall order.
As someone else said, that is a choice each of you has to make. We would prefer to know the truth about your situation so that we can decide to say NO for fear of creating hurt feelings and contributing to the end of a relationship that we are not even a part of. My mind will not allow me to justify what my heart knows to be just plain wrong.

How is it to be in the lifestyle and have small kids. - We are new to the lifestyle. - well we have been in this life style for 4 years now and hav many friends that are swingers tht we dont play with . and they know our kids after we was sure it would been a very safe thing to do. and everybody gets along great . but our kids dont know of our life style .
but when they get od enough to know and ask we will tell em the trueth .
we have even had a cpl come in from another state one time aand they brought there kids
but agian it was a friendship thing and no sex was involved.
we dont make a habbit of doing that . if we havent known a cpl for awhile we dont .
we even had a falling out with a cpl .but when we see them we still talk to them.
we really feel the best meeting for the first timein town ,out to eat . or something like that.
and for the new folks trying out this lifestyle is dont be surprsed if all 4 dont click.
that is alot harder then you think.like we said we have been in this for 4 years and you would think dang 4 years i bet they have been with lots of cpls.

weight approperate - - First off I am the one that is not the ken, she is the barbie and a half. I have always been a large person today I am 61 300 and the truth is that I spend about six days a week inthe gym and work out three times as much as my very sext lady and if you dont know me dont judge.
That is for all the psuedo swingers that view the body as an object. Whether male or female the jist of the life style is that it is a "LIFESTYLE" we are all going to look at what attracts us but the truth is that we both have had incredible time with people that did not look like Barbie or Ken. The real people in this world far out number those few. Health is a personal issue and as a nurse I have been witness to some very sexy individuals that were not healthy. Take life everyday as if it were the last and quit looking at the skin deep issues. pleasure is pleasure and it dont matter who you are and you can ask a couple of priest i know there is always something pleasure brings to us all.
We got in the lifestyle because there is more than just a body to enjoy, someof our best meetings have become longterms friends as well.
Odd pattern. - Why the interest/disinterest? - I'm not surprised to see mentions of homophobia and haste in filling out the profile as possible reasons; I hadn't thought of the male ego being so driven as to ignore disinterest from gay women. Yet that ego can't be reasoned w/ when the interested person's equipment matches the imagined ideal but the original birth certificate does not, even when reproduction is not on the table.
As Terry pointed out above, every blastocyst starts out female and slightly less than half mutate into males as they become fetuses.
AHARLEYCPL, not only is hate mail unwarranted, I'm personally pleased this discussion, for all its potential thorns, hasn't disintegrated into discriminatory ugliness like it would on some sites where the membership is more mainstream; I think it's b/c swingers already think outside the societal norms when it comes to expressing sexuality and have more of a 'live and let live if no one gets hurt' mentality.
