Honesty? Really? - Posers/Liars - Oh my...SUCH paranoia!
Does not everyone wish to advertise themselves in the best and most attractive way possible (at least MOST)?
Is it truly THAT hard to give the benefit of the doubt?
Personally, my experience has been that NOT everyone is out to lie, or even malicisouly mislead others who may peruse their profiles.
Seriously people, it's not some grand conspiracy against those who may consider themselves "above par" from the common swinger-folk.
Even those that might come across as being the most critical of others, and who consider themselves the "creme de la creme" of the Swinging community, are not immune to even the smallest of imperfections.
It is unfortunate that many that are the quickest to point out "flaws" in others...would seemingly have plenty of "flaws" themselves, in the eyes of onlookers of course (beauty/non-beauty will always remain in the eye of the beholder).
NOBODY is without these so-called "flaws".
Here are just a few examples of what I have personally witnessed being balked at AND often possessed by those that balk, during the course of my journey in swinging....
-Stretchmarks (gained perhaps through puberty, pregnancy, breast-feeding, working out, weight gain, etc.)
-Moles
-Asymmetrical bodies (so-called perfect symmetry does NOT occur naturally, not even surgically is it possible)
-Skin blemishes
-Errant hairs growing unknown on unseen parts of the body
-Birthmarks
-Skin discolorations
-Premature aging of the hands and neck areas
-Unsightly cuticles and/or nailbeds
-Man-hands (on women)
-Feminine hands (on men)
-Hobbitesque feet
-Cankles
-Crooked smiles
-Yellow teeth
-Green teeth
-Unattractive gums (gingivitis)
-Crooked teeth

There are many different ways to be unique AND "attractive" (and of course "unattractive" as well).
Basic Psychology might suggest that the way that we view others, whether we find beauty or ugliness, is simply a reflection of how we feel and what we view ourselves to be, and of course, speaks clearly to our relationship with ourselves.
Honesty is a completely subjective phenomenon, and those that share honestly about themselves may be viewed as being dishonest by those who are expecting or fearing to be mislead.
Please don't think for a moment that I am pointing out what I either like or dislike; many of these I actually adore and find quite charming.
Personally, I think it's the uniqueness of everyone's body and body habituses that add to the overall attraction and uniqueness of every individual.
Finally, please don't consider this a personal attack on the originators of this thread, or any of those who have shared their personal tastes in partners thus far. All are entitled to their opinions.

Feeling a bit far out in left field.. - How to meet people... - Adult friend finder is not a bad place to start either. More singles than couples but the singles may lead you to some gatherings or meet an greets. Also on yahoo groups there is a group called Minn-Dak_social_club. Its a fairly active group that I have used when I travel to North Dakota but I know there are few South Dakotans on it. Also I know its a ways off but when Sturgis is happening there are a few groups that magically pop up around that time keep your eyes open. SLS is a great lifestyle site that can also point you in the right direction. What are swingers really looking for ?Are they looking for frien - Has the happen to you. - i think as long as u are honest on your profile about everything that u want and dont want then they cant blame u if they dont want to take the time to read it all before they try to email u . just be honest with yourself and others . and tell everybody up front . it would also be more helpful if u wrote the people that u wanted to meet that way u have some control over who the people are . adn the ones that write u that are looking for something else . dont worry about it . it happnes to all of us . dont let others get u down . find people that are looking for what your want and have fun . we tell everybody that we are just looking for friends and we hang out with alot of different people . and we have been with different people looking for different things . sometimes people just clikc and can have fun . and some dont click even wanting the same things .jsut be honest and look and try to find people like u and make friends on the way . if u want to try someting new then do it . if not stick to what u like .

Long Weekend - Just wondering what people have planned - anyone ever go to Fantasy Swingers Club in vegas. also the the exchange ever get set up there.

It’s just for fun, chances are still low they are LS. As far as picking LS couples out...pre-LS we wouldn’t know what to look for but now it’s not that hard. Watch them at a club and you can often tell. It’s a fun game to play.
green door/red rooster - - We live in Las Vegas and have yet to go to any of them :( The main reason being that we use public transportation and only the Green Door is accessible by bus. The nice thing about the Green Door though is that they do free tours. lost with people - florida wanna be swingers - As so many have already mentioned, MANY advertise and MANY state they are wanting to meet other people but when it comes time to walk the talk is when you find out there is a lot of wanna be's and BS out there. We changed our ad to be very blunt but it helps keep away those who are seeking additional photos, or those who just want to email to death and seem to never want to chat on the phone or meet in person.
We think this is another reason some people don't post a picture, or post a picture showig them with another couple. We respect privacy, but you can block out eyes, faces or do a few things with the photo that still allows others to get a pretty good idea what you look like without giving away who you are. Then there are the cases where all of a sudden your picture shows up as being the wife on some elses profile!
The lifestyle is truly a wonderful way to live. For those of us who live this way of life, finding other real people is always a hunt. But when you do finally meet someone you click with - the magic truly begins.
We would think Florida would be better than where we live (Montana), but I think no matter where you live you will run into fakes, liars, wanna be's, cheats and all out BS. Good luck to you in your search and we hope things get better for ya.
