New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - The swingers clubs we've gone to were in Phoenix before they closed them (showing our age here) or favorite was Guys and Dolls. They had a stripper pole, free pool tables, a shower area and a large hot tub. We weren't a fan of the hot tub but they keep it free of floating nasties. We went to Club Chameleon when guys and dolls was closed. They had multiple themed rooms (i.e. the dungeon with multiple bdsm accoutrement including a rack, the fish tank which was a room that was surrounded by clear fiberglass, and a large orgy room with a padded floor a lot of couches and porn playing through a projector) they also had multiple stripper pole a dance floor and free pool tables. The entrance was 35/couple, 25/single female and 65/single male. Idk why they got closed but the rumor for Guys and Dolls was that there were prostitutes that paid to enter and then propositioned sex for money. Finding a swingers club in state would be great. Being that we live in Box Elder County we'd probably be able to visit only every couple of months.

First Meeting - - After about 5 years of being in the lifestyle that is still a problem for us on knowing when is the right time to take it to the next level. Our first time was unexpected. Iniquity may not allow single men in, but I know the others do. In those clubs single men are restricted to an area at the bar. They are not to approach any couples or single ladies! Doing so will get you a warning, and then tossed out! We will be the first to admit that we have met the least judgemental people of our lives through our experience in the lifestyle. Things don't always click but that should be expected. To give this woman the soapbox and state that people were pushy and basically force you into something was bullshit. Especially after stating that she was the 5th grader that never got picked for the team. She had a bad marriage period. Trying this out with an unstable relationship makes about as much sense as buying a new house and thinking that will make things better. A house does not make a home.

Polyamory - Please share your thoughts.... - My wife and I have been poly for almost 4 years now. We've learned that poly is a REALLY broad topic, and there are as many ways to "do" poly as there are grains of sand on the beach. We've met some awesome people. We've met some folks whose relationships resemble train wrecks. It's not right for everyone, but it's a viable option for certain people. My perception is that there isn't always a big difference between poly and swinging. I've met swingers that talk bad about poly but REQUIRE some sort of commonality and friendship before sex, and I've found poly people that badmouth swingers but use "poly" as an excuse to fuck anyone they want to. That's my perception. Can I have sex with someone I don't know but feel attracted to? Yes! Do I prefer intimacy with someone I feel a deeper emotional connection to? Sure! To be there to back your wife up if "no" wasn't accepted, is not only proper, but is in fact the only way swinging can matain any civilized credability. We also agree that violence is the absolute last option to chose. Going to the host of the party as was stated already is a very good idea. We have been to several really large parties that were totally open to singles, and only one time was there ever a problem. The hosts were informed, and the violater was asked to leave by a group of the men ( host included), and that was the end of it. It would be unfortunate if this one incident were to make you swear off all clubs or parties as they can be alot of fun in a totally different way than meeting a couple or a small dinner party can be ( although we certainly could understand you being skeptical about it).
