geting in LOVE while swinging - - Someone mentioned Polyamory. Poly people, at least in most communities, feel that swinging and poly are not compatible.. Fact is, why not? If you are open and honest about your poly leanings and totally honest with your mate and any relationships you may have... then why not poly as well. I know that several people in here and on other sites, swingers feel threatened if you are overtly open abut your feelings. If one truely loves and trusts their partner/SO/wives; husbands/girlfriends; bopyfriends and whatever other relationships that I may have missed, they should not be threatened. If you fall in love with someone that you have sex with.... you have 2 choices..... Tell that person and their spouse and your spouce and see where it goes or simply walk away with the thoughts and get on with your life. The 3rd option is not an option.... If one is poly...thier primary relationship/s take precedence.
It is my belief that poly and swinging are not only compatable but that if love happens when one least expects it it has to be handled. Even the vanilla schmuck sees or talks to others and sometimes form closer relationships but don't wish that to affect their perfect marriage. How is that handled? Sometimes it simply cools down or sometimes it ends in a short or long term relationship with or without sex. Swingers Vacation Spots - Help us - I have to agree with a couple responses above...HEDONISM ROCKS. Hedo is in Jamaicca. They have 2 spots. Hedonism II and Hedonism III. They are an all inclusive vacation that you would buy. Depending on the time of year you go, you and your spouse could get an ALL inclusive (yes this includes drinks too) for probably under $2,000. We have intentions of going for our first trip to Hedonism in October 2004 (this will be our 10th anniversary). Swingers Vacation Spots - Help us - Hedo is our dream vacaction and we plan on going sometime in 2004. I was wondering if anyone had any bad experiences there or places we should stay away from while we are there.

Have you ever.... - - Not sure if I'd call it loving controversy as much just goofing off a little and knowing that things (even in swinging) are rarely black and white. We've been doing this a LONG time and have seen a LOT more scenarios, good AND bad, than most people here. People who haven't been in the scene for that long or had that many experiences often see things thru their swinger goggles and maybe don't really think of the potential down side. We've seen many swinger marriages bite the dust. Would you really like to be the straw that broke the camel's back in helping a vanilla marriage implode? I guess I just don't really see the thrill in vanilla hunting when there are tons of hot sexy swingers who know the game and want to hook up and fuck. Why stalk the unsuspecting when you know the potential for drama or worse is MUCH higher? Unless you like drama, which we definitely DON'T. Hey, no judgments. Some people actually love drama despite what they say in their profile. If you're really into skiing or motorcycling or hang gliding do you enjoy doing it with total noobs who have the potential to crash spectacularly? But, hey, do whatever floats yer boat.
Christain Swingers? - - We just wanted to add what we wrote was our personal feelings and yes it's a open wound in our lives. If you can have peace with the two that's a great thing, the last thing we want to do is take you away from it or plant doubts.
Swinging and being In Christ just will not fit with our back ground and how we were taught. We both really wish we could let that go, but we can't as it's too ingrained. Despite the fact that we now know we were taught man twisted lies and distortions of scripture, the whole thing has left such a bad taste in our mouths that we could not even attend more "moderate" churches with out the wounds being opened.
What mostly wanted to say is this is our expeirence and we didn't mean to offend any one. It's just how we feel.
