We were really hoping to go but Father's Day activities for an elderly father whose health isn't good looks like they will prevent us from attending. There IS, however, an event listing on the homepage and it looks like a LOT of really hot, sexy couples will be attending. Do your friends and family know about your lifestyle? - - Our very FIRST experience ever with this lifestyle was down in Vegas. We figured we were out and away from our home town, which mind you at the time, was a small small town where everyone new everyone, and everyone's business. Anyway, we went to Vegas for a night on the town and thought we might go to the Red Rooster and ck it out. I was extremely nervous anyhow because we had never done anything of the sort, and we didn't know what to expect when we went inside. We mustard up the nerve to go in, and went on upstairs to the couples lounge. Just as I was getting comfortable with being there I look up only to see a girl and her husband from none only then our own home town. She new all my family, and to make it worse she lived right by my husband's brother, and I worked at the same store she did just in different departments. I was mortified the whole night long.....I just kept thinking....OMG, here we are, never done this b4, 400 miles from home, at the Red Rooster, and we run into someone that we freaken know. What are the odds??!! The worst part of it, she has the LOUDEST mouth in the whole valley so I just knew she was gonna tell everyone she seen me there at a swingers club. lol Thats just our luck! Needless to say, we got home, I seen her at work, and she said nothing at all. Our family didn't find out, no one we knew found out, and from then on....I just really didn't care that much. Bsides, they were there too....so, I had something on them as well!

Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - Exactly, so instead of saying your a swinger, you should use specifics. Like we are full-swap or we are soft-swap or we are seek polyamory. We are all swingers. It's like saying we are all human, but we have uniquity in ethnicity.
I agree that labels help. However, the label swinger doesn't apply to full-swap. It's simply not the way the word was intended. It's not what it means. "Full swap" means "full swap". Swinger means someone that deviates from the moral a social norms of their society with regard to sex. Libertine encompasses swinging because it falls under the scope of being morally unrestrained. I am a libertine by definition and swinging is only one aspect of that word.
There was a couple here not too long ago that was spreading intolerance by telling others they weren't swingers because they didn't "full swap". I called bullshit. This is far from the truth. I think tactics like that are used to pressure people that aren't comfortable with full swap into swapping. WE ARE ALL SWINGERS.

ADMIN: Survey Says - Site Updates for Priority - This really could be a great site, especially for Utah Swingers. Utah is so unique compared to other states, especially when it comes to situations like swinging. There are not many sites that you can go to where Mormons (exmormons really) and non-mormons get each other. For those religion suppressed people to go to and talk with others that understand them and the culture they live in...but there does seem to be less traffic on this site even compared to a year ago.
Swingers Next Door! - ABC news story on Swinging! - I caught the second half of this show while staying in a hotel a few nights ago. It seemed like kind of a hatchet job on people who enjoy the lifestyle. There was a lot of negative social representation. It was not what I was hoping for.
