Florida swinging - Swinging in Florida - The halloween party was way better then we ever expected so time to chat was at a minumum. The little we did get to chat about this subject seems that most were afraid of all the fakes out there. That explains why we have couples traveling from as far as Plant City to come here. One of our friends took it upon themselves to buy small toys to give to the women at the party so we were going to do one of the chinese gift exchanges where you draw numbers but the action got so hot and heavy so fast that we all forgot about the wrapped toys and I am looking at them as I write this. Other friends are hosting the Christmas Party so we will bring those with us to that party.
I used to think it was that couples here are looking for what you can give them or a free night out but what it seems like at least with our friends is just the right environment to let loose and have fun. We have tons of food left and the wrapped toys so they didn`t come for the handouts. It took us a while to get the right mix and we always seek to add to the mix. So for those who host or are looking for real and active swingers, just hang in there and keep building your contacts one at a time. We always enjoy meeting others and if there is no sexual attraction who cares, but if we like you then we will keep you in mind when interacting with others and might play cupid and introduce you to someone that might be more your taste. First time flop rule - it happens - i have thought about this. we are newbies and havent even met up with a couple yet (there arent many swingers in our area apparently) we get the 'what if' thoughts. 'what if we dont click?' or 'what if we do click, everyone gets along great and we chicken out?' i mean were not shy, maybe were just nervous cuz were 'virgins'?
First time stories, wanna share? - - Our first experience wasn't so great. There was mis-communcation, and it was fairly awkward. Actually, when my wife and I left the hotel in the morning, we decided swinging wasn't for us.
A few days later we decided not to let one experience be the final judgment. We joined Swingular and started talking to a couple that contacted us. My wife and I were a bit worried by their much higher experience level, but than we decided maybe that would be better.
We were right. They were nice and respectful and did a great job of making us feel comfortable, and we ended up having a really fun night with them. I think being with experienced swingers allowed us to just be ourselves and only have to concentrate on our own boundaries. If we had been with another newer couple, we'd all have to worry about going to far. We had a good enough night that we have kept in contact with them and continued to slowly check out the lifestyle.
We're still Soft Swap, and full swing couples have been really gracious to us, letting us join them and get a better idea of the lifestyle, and letting us get our feet wet, before diving in to the deep end. :)
We've had no bad experiences, but some could have been better if we had communicated on our end better. We're still learning how to do that.
Overall, these early experiences have been a lot of fun, and we're finding that easing into the lifestyle isn't as rocky as we feared. It's been a fun journey so far.
Swingers in a vanilla bar... - - @JSTJIM72 - OK - so if they say 'no' - just how would you explain a swingers type of bar / club to someone who's vanilla? If it was you, and you were approached in a vanilla bar, how would the converastion go?
Going on a Cruise - Not sure what to expect - Post your cruise date and ship to see if you match dates with other like minded peeps. Where your black rings and maybe throw an inside down pineapple shirt in your luggage. But mostly if you go to the bars swingers give off a certain vibe and if you feel that initiate a conversation. We have been on numerous all inclusive vacations and have found other like minded people. Happy hunting
D&D free? - is this an oxymoron? - As I've been pondering all the intriguing aspects of this new world we are entering, something doesn't mesh in my mind.
We live in a nation where billions (at least multi-millions) are spent daily to advertise drugs. This is done because it enables the drug companies to make multi-billions selling drugs. You can get prescription drugs for everything from your pecker to your severe depression about your pecker! And this is only the legal/prescription drug industry - I imagine the illegal drug business is even bigger. Just exactly where do all these drugs go? I suppose a lot are consumed by folks who have minimal concerns about engaging in high risk activities? Hmmm..... swingers?nah? Fact is the math would indicate that there is a lot more coursing through the veins of just about everyone we encounter than just the good ol redwhite&blue!
Same goes for disease. I don't believe the existence of most of it is caused by long-term monogamous relationships. When you are only as safe as the very last physical contact you have and you deal in a world of relative strangers, well, you get the picture.
I hope these are not interpreted to be negative comments. I truly am just trying to figure out the mentality of the profiles I read. It strikes me the whole "d&d free" thing is either a formality/some sort of cover-your-ass disclaimer or just people kidding themselves.
