We (Tami and I) have never ran across anyone that said they didn't want to have sex and only wanted to make friends. We have ran across those that want to be friends (have trust established), first. The latter I can totally understand, as we are two people that require trust in people we play with. We also find attraction in the personality and minds of the individual. Have there been exceptions for us? Yes, however, we have found that "spur of the moment" play was unsatisfying and regrettable. We try not to label people. We just avoid those that are into something we are not. Just as a couple not into anal sex would avoid sexual contact with those seeking anal. We avoid those that want to hook-up on first meetings without inhibition. Why? There are forceful individuals, there are deviants, there are bi-sexual males that think they can touch without permission, there are people who drug others, there are people that smoke pot and others that can't be around it due to their profession. The latter doesn't have to end a friendship as we happen to be in professions that don't allow exposure, we just had to perfect a little dance with our pot smoking friends. Many people view this as a "lifestyle". We certainly view the "free thought and expression" as a "lifestyle" but the "sex with others", is a recreational thing that we can turn on and off like a switch. tired of the B>S> - - The only chance we have of meeting fakes is if the couple at the club or party turns out to be transsexual dwarfs and were fooled by their elevator shoes making them look taller. We have been around this stuff a good while. Actually we have never tried to meet a couple on this website, we gave that approach to meeting long before this website came to be. (I know my ass doesn't look that old but it is trust me) Fakes have always plagued these boards, it was FAR WORSE when you didn't have the verification systems in place and while these are good they are still not a guantaree you are dealing with the real deal. The now infamous "Christylynn" was certified as a "real couple" and technically they were a "real couple" just not what you had planned on. You can e-mail someone back & forth till your fingers bleed but your will not truly know what's behind door number two until they walk through the door. The best way to try and eliminate fakes and flakes is obviously to meet them in person. The only way to hope to be successful is NOT to plan an evening out with ONE COUPLE. I did leave it in the comments section, but will include our opinion here, as well. And we are NOT trying to flame anyone's efforts. Just putting our thoughts in. For us..the single most turn off of any event is limiting who may attend. Excluding the old or young ones, or the heavier ones, or..etc....you get it. We all have our preferences for play partners, but believe it or not, We are both a bit curvier, and me a bit older, but we still have younger, AND thinner friends who seem to enjoy our company both in, and out of the playroom. As we enjoy theirs. I must qualify this a bit, tho, in saying that what we have encountered in the events we have hosted. We have found that although some folks do enjoy the company of the single guys, attendance is often severely limited if you include too many single males without dates. Sorry guys..just the way it is. And..perhaps, as much as we disagree, it is the same. Just as with the single guys, too many of us, as an older/heavier couple may do the same in limiting the folks you are really trying to target.
