Dinner party - - We would love to attend a classy party so tired of the stand around slamming drinks with people type party. I think the wife and I would be more inclined to enjoy a touch of class and I know from there things could become more and as for fun oh HELL yes!!!! How do you spot a Swinger..?! - tell tell signs of the lifestyle - Just look for the couples with Swingers tattoed on their forheads like the thing that Teelc(sp) from Stargate SG1... Otherwise I think that the walk up and ask if they know where such and such is.... A local club. If they know then strike up a conversation and ask what they think about the club... How many times have they been there, etc.... Or have you ever been to Las Vegas and have you head of the Red Rooster or been there? WHat do you think about that?..No biggy and if you zero on the local club... good chance that they are vanilla.

We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Yeas, I have found some of the advice to be helpful too and from that experience and now yours I am learning that even the single male has questions he needs to ask and some checking to do before playing.

Why are single guys being band from all the upcoming parties? - Did some clown out there mess it up for all single males? - Our group, (Tampa Bay Lifestylers), has a handful of single males. They are a select few. These guys are known around the area as decent respectable guys. They know how to work a room without "COCK BLOCKING" or pissing in anyone's corn flakes because they pay attention to the room. Most are smart enough to sort of lay back and watch. They know that all the couples or single women that ARE looking for a SM to join in will ask (if they don't already know), if there are SM's there. Our group does not play on the premise that (I AM GETTING LAID NO MATTER WHAT), and the guys know this. So none of these guys feel the need to push anyone. They also realize there will be more parties and that everyone is comfortable with them at a party they will be invited back again and again..
There are WAY more BI women in the lifestyle and this usually means that married guys are more likely to stand there. This makes for even less room for single men as well. COUPLES, (Which is where SWINGING came from), are more frequently looking for additional WOMEN to join in, thus brings in the single woman. Yes, there are the peeps looking for a single man to join or just take the wife away for play alone, but it is far less frequent. Therefore most groups and clubs are allowing all single women and only a few single men..

My wife and I were in the lifestyle for many years. She died 5 years ago of cancer and was the love of my life. It has been very hard for me as we were married for 34 years. Many of our friends were swingers because, as others have found, those not involved in the lifestyle often have negative judgmental attitudes. We made many friends.
After she died I was supported by my friends but I was no longer invited to parties. For a while that was fine because I wasn't ready. But since I've tried to renew my lifestyle activities, I've found that I am no longer welcome. Why? Because I'm a single male. Forget that my wife and I were involved in the lifestyle up in Seattle, forget the many times we hosted parties at our house, my wife's death made me a pariah to other swingers.
I really do not understand this. I'm still the same person. I'm discrete, clean, disease and drug free, I'm not pushy and no always means no. I guess I do not understand why all of a sudden I'm no longer welcome at parties i used to attend.

Mexico! Come with us!!! :) - Trying to put together a group of Swingers to go to Mexico with us! - I will have a better idea on prices once I know how many people are interested.It's looking like Spring is a little more expensive than when we went this October but with a big group the price will be lower. So round up all your friends that might be interested and once I know about how many people want to go I can call and find out what the group rate would be for that size of a group. I think they are also opening a resort in Montego Bay this winter so I can look at the rates there too since that might be cheaper. Let me know your thoughts and I'm hoping to see more responses as the weather gets colder and we all want to run away to the sun ;)
