Statement From Swingular Regarding CW Article - How to protect your privacy. - We've been keeping a close eye on the issues surrounding the recent article by City Weekly. We've decided to post a statement regarding our stance on this issue and also help our members understand how to better protect themselves from this and when future issues arise. If they say they have, then the person they talked to was not truly a Swingular representative. If Swingular had been contacted by anyone concerning articles about Swingular or swinging in general, our official position is to say 'no thanks' and pass on it. However, that does not mean that those requesting to do the article will find the information they are seeking, one way or another. Just like you can find an adult dating site, so can anyone else. Otherwise, these types of sites would not be in existence if nobody could find out about them. Use a unique username that none of your non-lifestyle friends know of. If you need to change it, please contact us. 2. Do not post anything that can identify you personally in your profile descriptions such as addresses and phone numbers or visible tatoos. 3. Post faceless pictures in your public album. Make sure you don't expose anything on you or around you that someone can identify. You don't need to post cartoons or backgrounds, etc... Nobody is going to figure out who you are with faceless pictures. If you need help editing your images, contact us and we will edit them for you or recommend someone who can. You can also use a free online photo editing site such as www.picnik.com. 4. Do not post any identifiable information in the forums just like I mentioned in #2 above. 5. Use caution when adding friends. Get to know someone first. 6. Use caution when allowing others to see your pictures. There are a lot of picture collectors and fakes out there so if you get a request to see your private album from a couple or single female, voice verify first by phone. 7. Use caution when sending or replying to emails. Use your initials instead of your full names or use aliases until you get to know someone a little better. 8. And last, let these things go. The more you talk about it, the more you feed the fire. I know it's great drama and presents conversation but you're only bringing more attention to the topic. Sooner than later, it will die, if you let it. By following these simple suggestions, you will be able to maintain your privacy and still be able to enjoy using a website like this to meet others. Moab lifestyle - looking for what lies under the covers in Moab - We get down to Moab quite a bit and can tell you with some assurance that there IS no lifestyle (at least SWINGER lifestyle) endemic to that area. There ARE plenty of swingers who go down there to recreate but they have to bring their own fun with them or arrange to meet it (them) there. Swingers at work... - - We ran into one of my co-workers in the hot tub of a local swing club. We never mentioned it outside of the club and didnt mention we did anything at work. We each managed it quite well, no one ever knew. I no longer work in that office and they no longer come to the club, so its not an issue any longer. Couples Oasis in Vegas - - Have been.. wasn't impressed. Felt like the kind of place you might get herpes just by sitting on a chair. Hosts were very friendly, crowd was older ... didn't see any couples there we would have rated over a "4 / 10". Stayed about 30 minutes and left. Honestly, swingers clubs in vegas are not good... the tourist atmosphere lends itself to people just trying to make money... they don't have to create a quality product to get people to pay big bucks. Save your moeny. When talking about vegas clubs, you'll find that most people over 60 speak fairly positively about them... most people under 40 won't go anywhere near them.... That should tell you something.

After working in the advertising and public relations field for many years I can unequivocally tell you that KSL has already determined the story they are going to write, and they are only going to the party to find supporting evidence of it. I guarantee it will be 99% negative. KSL isn't going to tell a story of how swinging can bring a couple closer and strengthen an already good relationship. They aren't going to show how 79% of swingers report their marriage as "very happy" as opposed to 64% of the general societal survey (GSS), or that only 1.7% of swingers report their marriage/relationship to have become "less happy" after starting to swing. Or that 57% of swingers list marriage as "very important" in their life as compared to 51% of the GSS. They are not going to show that swingers are slightly more likely to be part of a religious organization the the GSS (72% compared to 61%). These are not facts that will support the sensationalist story they want to produce. They want to show wild sex orgies and broken marriages. It doesn't matter if they agree not to show faces or not (they won't due to legal ramifications). People who go there during the other 29 days in the month will recognize the decor and will be "scouting" from now on.
