IMO if you need and seek an emotional bond (beyond friendship) from someone other than your spouse or significant other that clearly shows your needs are unfortunately not being met, and is a sad state of a relationship. Would definitely have to agree. West Wendover would be better and more successful. Less population to "spy" on the club. Only 1.5 from SLC. The "Out of State, Out of Mind" philosophy would apply well there. That is probably why the Vegas clubs do so well.
Build it in SLC or anywhere near SLC and you will have problems from the "moral majority." Another possibility may be a ranch somewhere in a remote area close to SLC like Grantsville. But with the Wendover solution, at least there are hotels available.
