Staying a couple in the lifestyle - - Our experience so far:

Many lifestyle couples we know have followed a very similar path.

Saturdays Vortex Party - - Just an idea. Even the wife and I have talked about this. When we first started in the L/S back in NC. We went to hotel Parties. Then a cpl from FL baught a house just for swinger parties. They didnt live there just opened it up on sat. for swingers. It was privite house so you didnt have to worry about cops and you could pretty much do as you like. We had a good time at the V but did not like the fact that on the dance floor there was a wall of guys just stairing you down. I know Ut has its own rules. Lets just get a house. :) for us all to meet.

I know a little about Port Charlotte, my mother moved there back in the 90's. It began as a retirement community in the 60's and it's still not an incorporated city. It's just a name of a general location in Charlotte County. The most exciting thing to ever hit Port Charlotte was Hurricane Charley in 2004.
My mother moved there when she was 65 but moved a year later because she said it was boring as hell with nothing but a bunch of old people.

Really? Rolls are a cardinal sin nowadays huh? Just FYI, everyone has rolls. Thin people, fit people, fat and in between people. It's skin. Just bc we've all been brainwashed by the western media to believe that thin is the ONLY form a beautiful body should take, doesn't mean that is truth. I am a bbw and a lot of swingers look down their noses at me in theory...yet I have met, played with and been pursued by thin, attractive people at various points in our swinging experience. It's not JUST about fitness. I find beauty in most forms of the human body, as many of us do. Dancing in SLC - - As a club promoter for many years in SLC, there are some great clubs. Depends on what type of music, atmosphere and crowd you are looking for.
Habits is a hit amongst the many on this site and is a great club I have worked with since its opening. The owner doesn't want it to be known as a swingers club, but it is the only upscale higher end club (with a dress code) where you will find very classy and sexy people. On any Fri and or Sat you will find about 20-30 couples from this site that frequent it. Music consists of the top 40 and some hip hop with some oldies (70's - 80's) thrown in the mix from time to time. They do have dinner menus.
Port-O-Call is a great one on Friday nights and you will find more of the college crowd there. Top 40 and techno. Be there before 10:00 or you will wait in line for about an hour plus. They do have dinner menus.
Area 51 is more of a Fetish type club that have many different parties. Music consists of more techno and house.
Sky Bar on the 13th floor of the RedLion downtown is a great club as well. Just talked to the owners of that club this week and they have a great crowd and many sexy and classy people they say. They also have dinner menus.

Age and desire - Is there a number that scares people away? - Age is nothing we have fb's anywhere from 25-52 it just depends on whether or not they can separate from Swingers and be friends too.
I mean we like to swing but sometimes we just like to hang out but we find the young'uns are a little overzealous sometimes which can be annoying so we prefer the older crowd.
