Seriously people...there are numerous sites dedicated to Swingers. Most are area-specific. If you want a truly "national" so-called swinging website, why not join AFF: the Walmart of swinging sites?
You can't blame us Utards for having a fairly active if not colorful forum board...not to mention the most active swinging community of any that we have lived in. Google your own areas for swinging sites, you're bound to find one more appropriate for your geographical location. In the meantime...can't we all just get along (even living in different states)? Diversity is a spice of life.
Who started it? - Who/How/How long? - Before we were in the lifestyle, we went to Hedonism. Nothing happened, but it started an itch that I knew I had to scratch one day if I could convince my wife. Years later at a vanilla party with friends and being drunk, I inadvertently mentioned we went to Hedonism. Our best friends picked up on that and asked if we were swingers. To our astonishment, they told us that they were in the lifestyle and encouraged us to consider it. A few months later, the wife and I went to Sea Mountain in Palm Springs and I told her that I wanted to watch her have sex with another guy. Later that day, she introduced me to a guy and stated that he would be the guy she would have sex with. So, it happened and I loved it. I told my friend who then helped me set up a profile on a swingers website and shortly afterwards, we met another couple from it for our first couples experience. The rest is history. BTW, that initial profile has undergone 1000 revisions as our strict rules were eventually eliminated. Haha!

VERY good point! We would not be real comfortable with this, either...however, we do support a lot of different rides sponsered by a lot of different groups we personally are not part of...so guess we could always pass off any questions in that manner..But, it would be nice if it wasn't really advertised as sposered by a swinger group. Affair Match - - Very well said Lusty... and many others of you... Its not a matter of judgementalism for I too fall on the perhaps wierdly mystical side that "everything is perfect, there is ultimately no "making right or wrong". However, thats not to say that we dont all have 'preferences'. It just seems wierd to attract cheating spouse lurkers to a dedicated swingers site. For the record, my opposition to this banner ad reflects my present desire to align myself with with open, honest swingers. In my past I have both been a cheater and played with cheaters.
