Divorce rates - How do we compare - My husband and I began swinging together after a month of dating after I, the wife, suggested it and have now been happily married for over 3 years and together almost 4. LDS Survey Results - - Wow.... just wow. I would have hoped that since we have all made the decision to swing and embrace the lifestyle, that people would be accepting of one another. Does it really matter if someone is Mormon? Is it truly necessary to bash someone's religion to that extent? There should be no place or tolerance for that here. My husband and I are active LDS, and I am not ashamed to say so. We both attended BYU and we have no guilt. We took a marriage prep class in college and the teacher told us that whatever happens in the bedroom stays in the bedroom. As long as both parteners are comfortable with what is going on and nobody is being degraded, it's all good. We view extra partners as a sex toy... nothing more. We keep our lines of communication open, we only play when our marriage is strong and we are not having any disagreements. It has actually saved our marriage and we are doing better than we ever have before. We both hold prominent callings in our ward.

I am not a believer in the INSTITUTION of Christianity as a whole, I do not beleive that ANYBODY who has taken the time to educate themselves about the origins of Christianity (particularly the Roman Catholic Church) and organized religeon (sp?) could be a true believer, however that in no way means that I do not believe in GOD.
In both of our opinions, swinging is morally fine as long as both partners agree on the context, the rules, and always respect one another. If you do not keep these very sacred simple truths in any relationship, let alone a swinging relationship, it is doomed to fail.

Condoms - To use or not to use? - TJ69NAZ,
I think this is another preference thing. It is obvious why a fertile couple would want to use latex condoms. However, since condoms do not prevent disease, they only reduce ones chances of contracting certain diseases, I can see why we don't all use them. Not being in a long term monogamous relationship or abstaining from sex, puts you at risk of catching STD's. Since we are all, as swingers, willing to roll the dice to fulfill our fantasies and derive our pleasures, it's safe to say that some of us are willing to "up the stakes". We, TR, prefer using them, but feel that our odds are still pretty good of contracting certain diseases, namely HPV, even if we do use them. What amazes us is the amount of people that still put 100% faith in condoms. We'll continue taking everything with a large grain of salt. Especially any information coming from the medical world. Afterall the CDC, FDA and Big Pharm have all been so forthcoming, upfront and honest with us. I never fully trust anyone that has financial interest. The bottom line is that, as swingers, we are all adding to the spread of disease by sharing multiple partners. Those that refrain from condom usage are just choosing a better sensation and orgasm over their safety.
