When You're Shopping the Scene... - - Yeah, it'd be kinda cool if there actually WAS some kind of universal accessory or a signal that swingers could use to ID each other out in the vanilla world. And many have tried over the years but nothing has ever really caught on (back in the day, more than a few women wore necklaces of an apple with a bite out of it). And even if something DID actually catch on, and people wore it or whatever to identify other swingers, how long do you think it would take for the internet to make that fairly common knowledge?
We went to a swinger's convention in San Diego a number of years ago. The group had taken over the entire hotel and property and nobody was allowed in without a special wristband. It took about 4 hours for most of the hotel staff to learn what those wristbands meant. By the next day, people at nearby hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers had heard the news and as you passed people they would glance at you and then immediately glance down at your wrist. By that evening, most of the swingers were becoming so self-conscious that they were attempting to hide the wristbands beneath watches and bracelets. A few even pulled them off their wrists, if they were loose enough, and then put them back on when re-entering the property.
So, as nice as it would be to know for sure who other swingers are, it would kinda defeat the purpose of what many of us state in our profiles...that we're discreet. I suspect that about 10% (if even) would wear a black ring and about 90% wouldn't for fear of being outed as swingers. YMMV

There are plenty of people here who are fine with that particular scenario and more than a few who are also looking, specifically, for that type of play. No need to go elsewhere. The trick is to find couples that won't try to punk you and get you to do a full swap after leading you to believe they are okay with your rules.
Also, there are quite a few women that aren't really bi or are only bi up to a point. It could be partly due to the fact that you're in Cedar. Additionally, we've noticed that your particular play preference is more common among younger couples so that could be making your search difficult as well. And one last problem (I know, right?), swingsites are slowly dying and more and more people are using alternative methods to find people to hook up with. Another perplexing experience - - In reply to wetfem there is nothing wrong with you as a cpl. We have had simular situations everything from "oh no your a yankee" to "your too old" of course they never said this to our face we just could tell from the way those nights went the bottom line is ,you cannot possibly be compatible with everyone you meet and chatting, talking on phone, and e-mails/messages gives you just a slight insight into who you are planning on meeting thats why for us for the most part at least folks local to us we do not spend alot of time chatting etc...
we setup a face to face meeting very quickly and see where it leads most 1st meetings are strictly social and then we tell whomever we are meeting with lets make it" more private "next time that normally will lead to a positive response or a polite "we don't feel we are compatible".
We have learned to laugh about the ones who choose not to bring it to a sexual level and consider it thier loss not ours . Being in the mid aged range we know that we are more uncompatible with the majority of the swingers who frequent sights like this my wife no where looks 47 People continue to guessed her age in her mid 20's (she drives those fair ages guessers crazy she has won every time lol) and when cpls/singles meet us face to face and we tell them our kids are 28 and 26 you can see the look on thier faces that is very obvious "They did not read our profile very well".
With all that said, we approach all face to face meetings with no "sexpectations" if it happens great if it doesn't we say nice to meet you and then say "NEXT"
