Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger - We used to go to the occasional lifestyle takeover/trip and would invariably be issued a wristband upon arrival so that we could get into events at the hotel or resort. It usually took about half a day for word to leak out, first among hotel employees and then later the general public, that swingers were around the area and that they could be identified by their wristbands. I guarantee if the black ring thing took off that very soon there would be multiple internet stories as well as likely regular news outlets that "swingers" wear black rings on their right hands and there goes any anonymity. The VAST majority of swingers would then not dare wear the accessory for fear of being seen/identified in public as a swinger. MUCH easier to just attend private swinging events where you have a reasonable assurance that all or most in attendance are indeed swingers rather than spend a lot of time cruising the bars or whatever looking for people wearing black rings. Facebook group - - I am an admin in a long-standing FB Swingers group for SouthEast Idaho and we're getting ready to close it down. It used to be there were privacy concerns where people who joined would risk exposing other members by sending friend requests to everybody but we were able to handle most of that by staying on top of things. Now, the FB rules and algorithm bots are going crazy. Posts from 2+ years ago are being randomly found and flagged. Posts from the admins are being flagged as well and we've been warned that if too many of these happen FB will shut the group down altogether. But this means two things; 1. the posts that make the page fun and free are all at risk of being auto flagged even though the group is private and 2. Even if a post is not flagged it's not truly private since the FB bots and possibly admins are scanning through everything that happens in every group. Really, the FB rule changes from 2 years ago make the group against their policy even by existing. The new rules read that a group cannot exist for the purpose of seeking or supporting the planning of any sexual activity. Because of all this, our group has been migrating to MeWe and all official posts/events/polls are now hosted there. We'll also be deleting FB content that is likely to be flagged and closing down the group.

Ways to point out Swingers in public - - The problem with the whole black ring thing is twofold. First, many people wear them now who aren't even close to being swingers. We see the silicone versions at the gym fairly often because you can lift with them without hurting your finger and I have at least half a dozen vanilla friends who wear black wedding bands (albeit on their left hands). Second, if black rings for swingers (or ANY other surefire way to ID other swingers) ever really caught on it would quickly become common knowledge and most swingers would prefer their little hobby stay discreet and not public knowledge to their friends, family, and coworkers. We were once at a lifestyle hotel takeover in San Diego and they issued wristbands to the guests. It took approximately two hours for the entire hotel staff to figure out what the wristbands meant (they were color-coded for sexual preference) and by the next morning you could walk to the adjacent mall and restaurants and people would look at you then immediately look down at your wrist and smile or even laugh and stare. People started trying to hide their wristbands and a few even removed them because they didn't enjoy the attention. And all this was before social media became a thing. How long do you think it would take nowadays for black rings, or whatever, to become common knowledge? Don't get me wrong. I would LOVE a foolproof way to know who else is a swinger as I walk down the street but swinging is still looked down upon by most other people in the world and most swingers still don't want their private sex lives exposed to the world.

Mormons - -
We are probably one of the few “real” ones on here. It’s hard to be one in this lifestyle especially here in Utah. Those that are in the lifestyle have issues with “Mormons”. We get judged by both those in and those not.
For the record, I would NEVER judge anyone for being Mormon and in the lifestyle. Been there, done that and know PLENTY of others who have as well. *edit: I should clarify that I meant WE were technically Mormons...but inactive, when we started swinging and we've met MANY active and inactive Mormons who were swingers over the years* LOL But I WOULD have a bit of an issue if you showed up to play with your garments on. But I guarantee that there are also plenty of people who would probably get off on it if you did. [em]Emo_49[/em]

Added Profile Information - We need your feedback. - Have seen on other sites a computer match auto search that matches the top 10 or 20 profiles that match what you and the others are looking for. This could save a lot of needless looking into others profiles endlessly. Some dating services are set up in a simular manor and it does have its benefits. Also good to have a place for specific ages you are looking for, or others are looking for. That way us vintage stock swingers would not be viewed as trying to bother the younger generation that may view us as pasture ready.

Vegas Next Week - - Anybody gonna be in Vegas next week? Gonna hit up our first Swingers club. If so hit us up, let's hang.

Swingers Club - Swingers Club - Sweet! Let us know when you'll be opening and how much the cover charge is. I'm pretty sure Clearfield will be stoked to have the first real swing club in Utah.[em]Emo_12[/em] And since you've never been to one I'm sure yours will be free from all the cliches that most tawdry swing clubs exhibit. About the only thing you need to remember is to have a little crock pot full of dicey looking meatballs on the buffet table. [em]Emo_8[/em]

YOLO Cruise April 26 2009 - swingers cruise - 21 days and counting !!! :D

For those who don’t understand the lifestyle - It’s what makes sense for you - The REALLY fucked up thing is how many people would or DO look down on swingers and swinging as something aberrant, abnormal, and disgusting, yet think people cheating and having affairs is a fairly normal part of life. It would seem that being open and upfront about your sexual desires with your spouse is somehow bad and sneaking around lying and cheating is good. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
